I need to know where to get off the train from Malaga station to benalmadena

Hi

Station name for Benalmadena is " Arroyo De La Miel ( Benalmadena)
They will announce the stations in english as you approach them.
It's a good regular service and you can get the train at Malaga Airport. You can wheel your luggage trolley on to the platform.

PLAYAS (BEACHES) OF FUENGIROLA

Fuengirola is one of the smallest municipalities in the Malaga province, but this has not prevented its eight kilometres of coastline from making it an important tourist resort with nice beaches like Carvajal, Torreblanca del Sol, Los Boliches (pictured here), La Gaviotas, Santa Amalia and El Castillo.
As we were in Fuengirola in March 2001 and February 2004, neither time was the weather exactly suitable for the beach. In the summer the beaches are packed with tourists.

RICH IN HISTORY

Like many Andalusian towns, Fuengirola is very RICH IN HISTORY, having at times been occupied by the Romans, Phoenicians and the Moors. Evidence of this history can still be seen in many parts of the town and surrounding area.
One notable monument is Sohail Castle at the western end of the town. The Castle and its surrounding gardens have recently been refurbished and it makes for a pleasant visit.
Sorry as we did not get the chance to visit Sohail Castle, I do not have a photo of it, so I substituted it for a very cute pic of me -- LoriPori.

Alambra palace

As a day trip from Fuengiro, get into your car and drive to Malaga and visit the Alambra palace or else take a day tour there. It is really worth every cent or Dollar that you are going to pay. I have done it twice already with different groups of people and each time we had a fantastic experience.

FISH ALLEY

All the streets around the sea front are full of bars and restaurants, although most of the entertainment bars are grouped in the town centre. Nearby there is an area of restaurants and bars known locally as FISH ALLEY. Walking around these streets in the evening involves navigating between all the tables out on the pavement, although it does mean that you get a chance to see what everyone is eating! TeeHee!!! I know -- I'm nosy!

Paseo Maritimo

"El Paseo Maritimo" (Marine stroll ) of Fuengirola is newly reform, its big, long and beautiful ... of about 7 kilometres. Wonderful to walk and walk and have sun and, at knight walk ... its very iluminated. Along its 7 kilometres you will find all kind of restaurants on the side of the beach (Chiringuitos) or at the other side.
