Great place to stay-lots of fun&beautiful location

Wicked! Great location, great vibe and great staff (They were always helpful and happy to get to know us :) Sad to leave this place. It's not a hostel for the straight edge :-p It's got nice pockets of places for relaxation best thing is the middlepart with the little bar, hammocks and the tree house. Another thing which really surprised me in a positive way was firstly that sometimes you can have dinner together and secondly that we all went out together, so that you as a stranger didn't have to find out where to go to have a great time. Probably the best place I've stayed.

Unique Quality: Friendly staff, very helpful and fun. the communal area was great to meet people and the nightly dinners made it easy to meet people as a solo traveller. lockers provided. Communal bathroom for all the rooms with multiple sinks so there was never a wait.

Best hostel i've ever been to!

The staff is absolutely amazing, they sat us down for 20 min and explain us a complete guide of things to do and how to move around Granada, they were so nice and helpful and a ton of fun. The hostel itself was really pretty, original and clean and the beds were comfortable. Rooms were a bit small but common areas were well sized and offer different atmospheres, I think this is how a hostel should be. There were also tons of fun people from everywhere staying there to meet. Perfect location in the old quarter. AMAZING experience.

Unique Quality: I loved the tree house, the hammocks, the chill out and the little bar in the courtyard. Small sized hostel, they organized many daily activities, as a great free walking tour, so to meet people was really easy.Makuto has a lot of character out of the typical "Ikea decoration" many hostel seems to have by now.

Nice relaxed vibe,perfect location,best atmosphere

Best hostel experience yet. Can't fault it! Staff are friendly, informative, chilled out, fun! Area is right in the heart of old town. Tree house, chill out zone, got the private room on our first night due to a cancellation - completely worth it, it's beautiful! Awesome flamenco on recommendation also. Bohemian atmosphere, very easy to meet new people and chill out, but quiet from midnight so no problems sleeping either.

Unique Quality: The hostel lives its own life, has a treehouse, really nice chillout space, hammocks and nice rooms. Rooms were a bit small but lots of common areas available. The character of the hostel makes up for it. Makuto is a legendary hostel. A true backpacker's paradise :-)
