Friendly, clean, central & reasonably priced

Against all advise, we arrived in Granada without a reservation at midnight after a very long hot drive. Also against all advise we didn't plan where we would park and drove right into the center of the city having no particular idea as to where we were and without consulting a map.

After a very easy entrance to the city, we spotted an underground carpark with security and parked up in front of the security office leaving our cases locked in the boot of our car, climbed up the parthway and arrived blinking with tiredness and somewhat delierious, into the center of town. What a great feel it had. Warm, relaxed and loads of little bars and cafes brimming with life late on a Monday night.

I had done a little research online before our road trip and remembered some recommended hostals we tried Hostal Azul but it was full. Then the Hotel Dauro, but at 170 euros for a few hours sleep, we thought we'd give it a miss...Then we stumbled across this little gem. We were greeted by an extremely friendly desk staff who understood our total exhaustion and recommended a carpark even nearer, giving us a map and alot of useful information on where to eat at what was now 2 o clock in the morning. There was nothing glamourous or unique about the place , but it was modern, immaculately clean room con bano, with a welcoming simple check in for a mere 68 euros for two including breakfast. We lucked out.

If we had known which day we were going to arrive, we would have booked something maybe a little more traditional in decor or whatever, but if you find yourselves arriving in Granada after midnight with nothing planned, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

We caught a cab up to Paza Nueva as we were so tired and hungry and found ourselves tucking into huge plates of jamon y queso in a lovely traditional tapas bar near the cathedral . Perfect.

Unique Quality: Unfazed by our raggerdy late arrival.
Very welcoming and helpful.
Reasonably priced in the center of town.

Great location, clean and inexpensive

during my three month stay in granada i lived with a host family, but when my boyfriend came to visit me, we stayed a few nights in Hotel Navas. i ended up finding a good deal on the internet for 54 euros a night. Hotel Navas is located on Calle Navas, a pedestrian street lined with tapas bars in the heart of Granada. it's a very central location and a very nice, clean facility. i especially enjoyed the continental breakfast, since i didn't regularly get to eat breakfast in spain. (they don't really do that). if you're tired of staying in hostels and you have some extra money to spend, i would highly recommend this hotel.

Unique Quality: -depending on the room, you may get a view of the alhambra.
-it's on a quaint pedestrian street, so no car traffic.
-continental breakfast.
-relatively cheap, look for internet deals.

A little gem

Great reasonably priced hotel, we paid £20 per person per night.
Centrally located with plenty of Tapas bars on the same street.

Unique Quality: Heating and air conditioning, we were there in Feb so the heating was welcome, plenty of hot water and a reasonably priced minibar!
Buffet style breakfast with something for everyone, although the bacon wasn't up to much, nice pastries and bread for toast.

Cozy hotel hidden in many Granada's streets

Comfortable and remarkable stay. But do skip the restaurant. Do not offer too many options and the omelette must be a day or two old. There are a lot of nice tapas bars just around the corner. The staff is able to reserve tickets for flamenco shows for you.

Modest hotel in the city center

We only stayed one night in this hotel in the center of Granada, but the experience was really good. The room was a little under my expectations, the madras in the bed was quite hard, but most of all the personel were amazing. They were really helpfull with anything we asked for and were always smiling although they were obvouisly busy.

Unique Quality: The personel - the smiles on their faces were fantastic!
