Friendly staff, great location

Thanks to a favorable listing in Lonely Planet, this hostel has become the "it" place among backpackers. The facilities are clean and the staff is helpful. There is a tapas pub crawl each night. When you check in you will receive a free drink at the bar. There is also free Internet access.

It might be hard to find the Oasis, as it is located on a side street midway up the hill of the old town. It is situation near many shops, restaurants and bars. All the tourist attractions are within walking distance, although walking uphill to the Alhambra may be too much of a challenge.

One of the best hostels in Western Europe

I ended up staying in this hostel because to girls from New Zeland I met in London told me to.
I got to Granada's bus station and found out the hostel's flyer.

The staff os very very nice (at least it was when I was there). Everybody goes out at night together, it's great. The place is clean, has hot shower and nice breakfast: they have toasters, jelly, butter, milk, coffee and tea - so you help yoursef. I think it goes till 11am.

It's very easy to get there. You need to get a bus that goes to the old center. There's a square with a fountain in the middle of it (Plaza Nueva). It's close to the old cathedral and close to the riverside (in the way to the Allambra).

The street is a bit small, so you have to ask people about it. If you get to Granada by bus, just go to the tourist info's desk and they'll explain it to you (at least how to get to the Plaza Nueva).

I don't recommend you to go to other hostels, because they're really far from everything!

Oh, and the view from Oasis is great! But truly, the best part of it is that it's close to everything and people are great.

Unique Quality: They give you a free beer when you get there and there's no curfew.
