Convent of Santa Ines
Is a really wonderful church, which does worth your visit in Sevilla, actually some cities have more mounments than one can reasonably hope to visit.
Such is the case of Sevilla!
Casa Morisca is a gorgeous little hotel in the Albaicin. It's very easy to find, has parking outside their door (although it's not private, they do have a camera that overlooks it), and has really nice staff. It's a short walk to the Alhambra (via the back route), restaurants, shops, the Sant Nicolas viewpoint, the cathedral, etc.
The hotel is Moorish in style with lots of tile and mosaic. Our room was nicely furnished and clean, with french doors that opened onto a tiny balcony with a view up to the Alhambra in one direction and Sacromonte in the other. They have the usual 7 or 8 Euro breakfast option (which we skipped), served on a pretty patio.
Casa Morisca would be my first choice should I stay in Granada again.

I'm going to Granada for my birthday. A modern hotel is easy to find on the net... but I was looking for something a bit more charming. An hotel offering something extra in local architecture in the city center.
Any suggestions? Our budget is about 60-90 euro.
frank.
Sorry I can't delete the question , but I think I found something charming on a backpackers site.
Thanks everybody who wanted to help/ I let you know later if I made a good choice.

Maybe you could let us know what you have found?
There are a number of old mudejar buildings in the Albaicin which have been refurbished

I stayed at the Santa Ines in October 1996 - but this may be slightly outside your price range.
Have a good time
Mark
