Nice Hotel
The HOTEL SAN ANTON is located in front of the "GRANADA CONGRESS PALACE" and with marvellous views of the ALHAMBRA and SIERRA NEVADA..
Very near to the historical centre and shopping district of the town.
Unique Quality: It disposes of 2 Panoramic Lifts from were you can enjoy the views of the town.
Panoramic Restaurant: Situated on the top floor of the Hotel and completely glazed with panorama windows, it will allow you to enjoy an excellent view of the town (PALACIO DE CONGRESOS, ALHAMBRA, SIERRA NEVADA) while you are having a tasty meal.

Granada Airport Hotels
Are there any hotels at or near Granada airport? We are flying into Granada late on a Sunday night and wanting hire a car there but all car hire offices are closed when we arrive. Need to stay somehwere local overnight and pick up hire car first thing Monday morning.
Is it far into Granada centre from the airport if we were to stay there overnight? Taxi or bus for a family of four with luggage?

There WILL be taxis outside of the airport. Take the cab (sorry I can´t give you an exact price, about 25-30 euros) into Granada centro. Also, there are buses always waiting.
I suggest that you don´t stay out there, it´s quiet a way outside of the city. I recommend booking for a hotel on Travelocity.com, for instance when someone came to visit me they stayed in a four star hotel for 68 euros a night, right in the centro, Hotel Carmen, and they found it on that site.
Then, you can go to Hotel San Anton to hire a car from Crown Car Hire. It´s really close to Corte Inglés, the main shopping plaza here, on Calle San Anton, right next to the river Genil. I´ve used them multiple times, with no hassel. The one thing that I would suggest to you would be to book the car online (at crowncarhire.com), ´cause if you hire the car on site, it´ll be quite a bit more expensive than if you do it before hand, online.
Good luck, enjoy Granada, and make sure you visit the Alhmabra, some people say that you don´t have to, but I disagree...
