TinKan's Huelva (Hell of a town) Visit
"The place it all started"
Well not many Americans can say they have been to where it all started.
This place is a little off the betten track.
This is the site that Christopher Columbus started his voyage to discover the new world.
I went with Dionosaur and a German friend who had missed this place on her and her husband’s prior trips to Spain. It turned out to be a good trip as we had a history lesson in all the things that were brought to Europe from the new world.
There is a place where you can see life size replicas of the three ships that were taken on the voyage and I will tell you this... if someone told me I was going to travel the seas in a boat that small the new world would have never been discovered.
Take a look at the travelogues for pictures of the ships and you be the judge.
