A luxurious oasis in town

This was once one of Williams and Humbert sherry 'bodegas', now restored and transformed in a luxurious 4 stars hotel. In the main building there is the reception, 42 single, doubles and suites, the breakfast room and one bar. The dependance (a building situated just in the garden) comprehends 17 duplex rooms, the restaurant and the spa. My duplex was very spacious and elegant, the smell of wood and flowers was everywhere and the garden side pretty quiet.
The hotel is situated in a new area of Jerez (just steps from Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre), but near enough to old and commercial city centre.

Not bad, but not so central

First time I went to Jerez (November 2004) it was a business trip with a colleague. She insisted on to book this hotel, as she said the webapage and it seemed fabulous and with a great spa center. She was enthusiastic about the place (I've to say it was one of her first business trips), IMO it was ok for a 4-star, but nothing extraordinary. Good value for price, new hotel (from 2004) in a nice old building. However the location (close to the bullring), was not so central as we thought. The spa closes quite early (obviously the place was not oriented to business-travellers) and we could not use it, so I cannot say. The breakfast was quite disappointing for this hotel category.

A four stars, new not too center

This hotel from 2004 is a four stars, is just close to the bullring and a walking distance of the city center (but not as close as I though it would be). they have an spa center but not a swimmming pool (of course you ahve to pay for the spa)

we got a duplex for 3 people for 74 euros
