Seville to Malaga

by sneida

Hi,

I'm coming to Malaga by way of Seville Airport.

What are my options in terms of getting to Malaga? Bus? Train?

thanks

There is no direct connection between Sevilla airport and Malaga. What I can suggest you is take the Special Bus Line EA from Sevilla airport to Prado bus station, come down at Santa Justa main train station and take a train to Malaga: bus ticket is 2.10 euros, train ticket between 18.15/34.56 euros, depending the train you choose. This is the spanish rail website:
http://www.renfe.es/

Hope it could help.

The other alternative is to take the same and only airport bus for the same flat fare and stay on the bus until the end (about 20 minutes). then walk to Prado de San Sebastian bus station which will be very close. (They keep changing the end bus stop so I don't know where it is this month !)
The at the bus station look for the direct Seville service which should take around 3 hours. Cost about Euros 16.

Check RENFE train times on www.renfe.es.

Departures are from Sevilla Santa Justa station (presumably has bus link to/from airport - you could check the AENA Spanish airport website to find out this). A number of the Sevilla to Malaga train services now operate via the high speed line (via Cordoba). Check web fares and last minute fares for some heavy discounts!

A walk in the park

Suddenly you leave the city, and find yourself walking along the Paseo Del Parque, filled with its wonderful trees and statues. On the other side of the Paseo, high up behind the white tower, you will find the Roman Fortress.

This model is located inside the museum in Gibralfaro. Carmela and me were watching all the city, Alcazaba, bullfighting square, cathedral, ... good thing having a look at it before watching at the real view!
