Visit the Costa del Sol, it is...
by gabriellefox
Visit the Costa del Sol, it is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. It has miles of beautiful sandy beaches and fantastic weather which have kept tourists flocking back year after year to resorts like Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Marbella.
The areas infrastructure is well organized with the new Autopista del Sol providing access from Malaga to Estepona and beyond to Gibraltar. The old N340 coast road is a little slower but offers some lovely sea views as it winds its way along the coast.

Leaving the seaside, the first place to visit is the typical white village MIJAS, a very popular destination of excursions from Malaga. SOMETIMES CAN BE TOO CROWDED OF TOURISTS, BUT VIEWS ARE GREAT AND THE TAXI MONKEYS ARE A MUST DO PHOTO!!
Buses in Malaga
by ape_huva
When I visit a city, the is 2 things I always enjoy trying:
1. Public Buses (not touristic, real)
2. Local Supermarket (in neighbourhoods)
Well, if you have to move around Malaga, outside the city center, your first option gotta be always taking the bus. It's the cheapest way (1€ aprox 2007) and every part of Malaga is covered. Buses are modern and the frequency is ok. In major lines not much than 5 min, but in some specific lines around 30. The net is centered in Avenida Alameda Principal, from where you can reach nearly any spot in town. Buses are blue and white, but can be different depending if they are old or new models.
I'll talk about bus lines of interest in separated chapters, but gimme some time!
not for the faint-hearted!

Guess what animal this is? Yup, it's rabbit alright! though i'm not a vegan, i can't imagine eating this lovely creature.
You can even get some other grocery items here. Very convenient since we had full kitchen facilities at our resort!
