Hotel near airport
If you have to stay in Malaga for just one night the 4-storey Holiday Inn Express near Malaga Airport is not bad, they seemed to have a good deal when I stayed. Though if you are staying more than one night there is no restaurant and it is a 20 euro taxi into the city.
Breakfast is untypical Spanish fayre (ie the cold meats and bread didnt look very fresh, though there was a lot of it), buffet style, with a machine dispensing coffee.
Location is near a busy building site but I didnt stay for the views and the rooms were soundproofed so couldnt hear the noise. Rooms were spotlessly clean and beds comfortable.
Unique Quality: The bus service from the airport brings you right to the door and if you present your bus tickets to reception they'll reimburse the cost of your fare. If you get a taxi it may cost in the region of 20 euros!
