Ancient City Walls
Another view, showing the extent of the Castle Walls. They are in good repair, and must obviously have been rebuilt from time to time. At the foot of the walls here, is the Roaman Theatre, currently being excavated and rebuilt.

I am looking for a long term car parking (1 to 3 months) in Malaga reasonably cheap and preferably no too far from airport. Can somebody help here? Thanks. Xazy
I have used NCP carpark which is based less than 5 minutes from Malaga. I am not sure of their rates. They also pick you up/take you to the airport. Their number is 0034 95 224 00 60. There are also a few other companies which are very close to the airport.
As GibJoe says, there are some operators around the airport perimeter who have reasonable long term deals. Some actually have used the new car park 3 that was built as part of the new airport extension work and is apparently free ! But I read somewhere that it was now filled up with cars having the look of being abandoned or at least untended for weeks and weeks !! Anyway there is this company you could look at http://www.firstcargroup.com/

Well, it was an organized visit for us, and I'm glad it happened. Look, it is not a walk-through-a-place-with-lots-of-trees. They have a very entertaining one-hour tour, and there are some really fun stories behind the trees and plants.
it was a visit to remember... at least for me...
Plaza de la Merced is the meeting point for most of people to start to enjoy an evening on Málaga town center. Many bars, restaurants and cafeterias round there.
La plaza de la Merced es el punto de encuentro para la mayoría de los jovenes para empezar a disfrutar de la noche en el centro de Málaga. Hay varios bares, restaurantes y cafeterias en los alrededores.
A great restaurant with a good atmosphere that attracts all nationalities including the locals. Creative and interesting International menu beautifully presented with a great tapas menu too that you can take in the bar area, an alternative eclectic version of tapas very tasty. In the restaurant area there is an open kitchen where you can see your food being prepared. The restaurant also holds regular art exhibitions by local artists, so culture too while you eat!. I recommend the salads especially 'Ensalada Vino Mio' and the 'Woktopus' is also yummy, dont forget the deserts too which are naughty but really nice. Salads are quite large so maybe one to share with our main meal is the best idea?
This place is all things to all people. A cafe, bar, restaurant and patisserie! Pop in for a coffee and a mouthwatering pastry, enjoy a glass of Cava at the bar, buy handmade boxed chocolates for a gift, have breakfast with friends, buy a delight to take and picnic on the beach - the choice is yours.
It's clean, busy, efficient and has mixed decor!

Q: Traffic in May "Is the tourist traffic density high during the first two weeks of May? Will the weather turn warm during the same time?"
A: "The traffic in Malaga is heavy at any time of year. It has that typical European city problem of many fairly narrow streets, packed with far too many cars. The modern..."
