From Malaga airport to Flatotel International Apartments Benalmadena.

by Kutetee

We are arriving at Malaga airport at 00.35 hrs from Rome next week and would appreciate advices on the transport from the Malaga airport to Flatotel International Apartments Benalmadena.

We are thinking of getting to the hotel by taxi, as there are 3 of us. Is this a right choice ? Should we prebooked the taxi ? How much is the taxi fare ?

Please advice as this is our first trip to Malaga

Thank you

Alan

Since there are three people and lugguage at 0035, it is best to get a taxi and serve you door to door. if you can prebook one, it is better as there is a set price and they will arrange your pickup at the airport. Cheers Tommy x

As`Tommy says, take a taxi - as you leave the new Terminal 3 building the taxis are on your right side. There is a list of fares on a board if you really need to know. You will be on the Tariff 2. Otherwise look at the Spanish airport web site for details. www.aena.es

Thank you very much for your advice. We had called the hotel and were advised that taking a taxi from the airport would not be a problem despite our late arrival(12.35 midnight). They advised that the taxi fare is about 30 Euro.

Travel Tips for Málaga

I was just a teen then...I...

by yak5371

I was just a teen then...I enjoyed horseback riding, swimming at the hotel and the delicious food served at the hotel restaurant. I really miss the climate. It was in the 70's or 80's during the day and around 50 to 60 degrees at night.

OJEN

by Carmela71

Form Marbella to the mountains just 9 Km you arrive to OJEN, almost ¿? untouched by tourism.

The Mirador de Juanar , a view-point, offers a fantastic panorama, and the orange woods of Valle de los Naranjos are truly picturesque. And a phantastic parador.

Airport bus serving Marbella

by Dabs

Unfortunately the summer schedule had not yet started on the direct airport bus from Malaga to Marbella so they only run every 2 hours or so (someone said June 30th was the start of summer). I arrived right after one had left so I had to wait for about 1 1/2 hours but the cost of a taxi was about 60E and the bus was only 3.92E and there wasn't any other VTers that arrived with me so I stuck it out. Buy your ticket on the bus, the driver has change.

and not only seafood

by Malecka

There is a great place for bocadillos (when you’re in a hurry) on Plaza de la Merced, and many, many others.
Try the Gazpacho andaluz, very refreshing for the hot days, then paella of course, and tortilla (something like a thick “pancake” with potatoes and eggs).
