Guadalmar
Guadalmar is the beach of Málaga which is located east of the city towards Torremolinos. It is said that this is one of the last unspoiled beaches of Málaga. There is a large white sandy beach where you can hire sunbeds. There are two chiringuitos (beach restaurants). Along the beach is a nice promenade with children's playground and a icecream vendor. There is also a small supermarket close by.
If you'd like to stay here, there are as far as I know two hotels: Typ Guadalmar right at the beach and Hotel Picasso which is located in a side street of the promenade only 5 minutes walk.
You can reach Guadalmar by car by driving from Málaga towards Torremolinos over the highway and take exit "San Julian/Guadalmar" (first exit after exit towards airport).
