About these campings in Andalucia...
by vibi68
Here are 3 camping sites I would like to have your advice on, for only the Marbella one has a website. I'm wondering about availability as they don't take reservation for parcelas... but I guess we'll have to manage something else, if they are full. Anything you can tell me about them would be welcomed.
1. Camping de Aracena - Aracena
2. Camping La Brena - Almodovar del Rio
3. Camping Cabopino - Marbella
Cabopino??
by WendyHOL
I'll be staying at Camping Cabopino. Can somebody tell me if the bus going from the Malaga Airport to Marbella stops in (the village) Cabopino? I know there's a busstop...
Please, I need an answer as soon as possible; we'll leave next saturday...
Thanx!

The direct bus from Malaga airport to Marbella, does not stop at all. It goes through the toll road, not the N340.
Another option for you, would be to take the train from airport to Fuengirola, and from ther the bus to Marbella, that stops in CAbopino.
the bsu stop is under a bridge and just over the bridge is the camping entrance.
Hope this helps

Travel Tips for Marbella
Supension Bridge and Park
by Geoff_Wright
Carmen had to park her car some way from the town centre, and we walked through this attractive park, with its magnificent suspension bridge flying over the top. Carmen did say something about the bridge, how it was modelled from another, somewhere in the world, but on a smaller scale. I'll try to find more details later.
Some details I found about this bridge: Structural Type: Cable-stayed bridge. A-pylon, inclined pylon, semi-fan arrangement . Built: 1989

Goin' clubbin'
by nereid about La Comedia
This was a fun nightclub. There was no cover when we got there at midnight. It didn't really get bumpin till about 3:00am. The drinks were expensive. They played a variety of music from hip-hop to pop to Reggae to Spanish to Techno, though some of the music was kind of outdated. There was a better mix of people here than in the surrounding bars of Puerto Banus, including locals from Marbella and San Pedro. This was the only nightclub we went to, so I don't have anything to compare it to in Spain. No sneakers

by Durfun about DA PINO
Lovely setting, just off the attractive promenade, offering seaviews.
The restaurant is large & open-plan, so it's easy to accommodate a very large group here.
The waiters are young, lively & attentive.
Decor, lighting, etc is very tasteful. Tomato Mozzarella salad, Stuffed Aubergines (Eggplants) pasta.
The presentation of the starters was unique - sliced tomatoes with a dollop of cheese on each slice! That was quite good.
For desserts we had a mouth-watering slice of chocolate pudding.... simply divine!!
PIZZERIA
by LoriPori about RISTORANTE DA PINO PIZZERIA
Saturday, May 6 VTDinner Meeting at RISTORANTE DA PINO PIZZERIA an Italian restaurant located on the beach front, a 10 or 15 minute walk from most VT'ers hotels.
Starters: Tomato Mozzarella salad or Three pastas in a selection of sauces. I chose the Three pastas and it was absolutely delicious.
Main course: Scaloppini with a mushroom sauce or Salmon Cavaliere or Stuffed Aubergines(Eggplants) which was the Vegetarian option. I had the Salmon Cavaliere which was OK but a little too fishy tasting. I prefer the mild taste of our wonderful Canadian Pacific Salmon.
Dessert: Tiramisu
Drinks: Coffee, red & white wine, beer, sodas and water.
Cost per person 27 Euros
