I stayed at the Andalucia Plaza which is a nice hotel.
The rooms are roomy and comfortable with a balcony. The hotel also has a casino. What i like the best is the location. Right off of N-340 across the street from the marina "Puerto Banos". You can walk to the marina by crossing 340 in a tunnel.
The rate was very reasonable in low season, EUR75 per night. The only drawback is that it's a bit noise in the room and by the pool since it's so close to 340. Another hotel that looks really nice and has a very secluded location is the Westin Hotel. The hotel feature includes indoor and outdoor pools, gym with sauna and steam room, great buffet breakfast included, 2 lobby internet computers.

Casino Nueva Andalucia - Puerto Banús (95 278 0800).
Vast casino. Live show during the summer. Part of the Andalucia Plaza Hotel. Open Monday to Thursday 8pm to 4am and Friday and Saturday 8pm-5am. Roulette, blackjack and poker, plus a bar in which to celebrate - or not. Don't forget your passport and dress quasi-formal or you won't get in. Elegant

Great Break

My Husband and I have just returned after spending our 10th Wedding Anniversary at the H10 Andalucia Plaza and had a great time. On arrival we were upgraded to a junior suite with ice cold bubbly waiting for us which was a really nice surprise. Overall the hotel and its facilities could not be faulted. As said before it is a nice walk into Puerto Banus which was needed to walk off the great food at the hotel. The hotel was also very flexible allowing you to change dinner for lunch if desired. Personally we can’t wait to go back again.
Overall a pleasent experience

Spent a week with wife and kids (10 and 4) at the Andalusia Plaza Hotel in Puerto Banus.... the hotel is very clean, well maintained and the common areas are large and cheerful.
Had two connecting rooms... well sized. Only had breakfast at the hotel and the buffet and service were up to expectations... the restaurant has a nice terrace overlooking the pool, which makes breakfast really special and a nice way to start your day.
The hotel is a 10 minutes walk to the beach and to the Marina, hence you can reach them on foot several times a day and do not need a car unless planning to go out of Puerto Banus.
The pool area can get crowded, but at the hight of July it was never too crowded + you also have a nice beach to go to.
The hotels has really long corridors, and walking from the elevators to your room could be quite a trip....
Nice Hotel Poor Pool

I stayed for five nights, busy hotel good for the port and rooms ok.
I had a junior room.
If your after a pool holiday forget it. The Pool was packed - couldn't move and had to lie on the grass.
Overall the Hotel was ok, Pool and gym not very good.
I went with some lads, not sure i would take my girlfriend to that Hotel as you couldn't relax round the Pool and the beach wasn't great but its all about what your own standards are !
Average hotel in good location

This hotel is reasonable for its price. The rooms are clean and well appointed although some do overlook the busy road. Noice is not a problem as double glazing is extremely effective. The location is excellent close to harbour and beaches Pool area is a little too small for the size of the hotel and drinks prices are much too high at the pool bar. Food is satisfactory although bread at breakfast was hard and unpleasant. The choices otherwise are fine if a little unimaginative.
This hotel is in a good location if you want to get out and about but is not particularly luxurious.
Value for Money

Stayed here end of June for a 3 night Break. Entrance/reception area is lovely and staff were very helpful. Our room was on 2nd floor but was about a 10 minute walk from the one set of elevators along 4, not very wide, corridors. Rooom was basic but very clean, bed was as hard a concrete though and air con took a while to get going, asked for pool view to be away from the road but we were on the side over looking another building and part of the car park and in shade all day.
Breakfast was adequate, some strange choices on the buffet but good fresh food, choice of cooked, fruit, cereal and made to order eggs/omellettes, pancakes etc.
Pool area was nice, we didnt use during the main day times though as seemed to be packed but we had a swim early evening before we changed for the evening and it was lovely.
Nice and convenient to get to puerto banus but the subway walk through does smell like something died in it and isnt very clean and poorly lit.
Staff were accomodating in letting us store luggage after check in. all in all would stay here again for a short break but wouldnt want to take more than a few days here.
Fantastic Hotel

This was our second stay at this hotel. Staff efficient. Hotel clean and easy access to Puerto Banus "the strip". Lovely cool reception area where you could sit and have a drink from the bar. The pool was gorgeous with lovely restaurant around the pool, so we could just have a spot of lunch when we got tired of soaking up the sun. We'll be going again soon. Excellent location.

"Golf on Costa Del Sol"
Just back from another short trip to Puerto Banus where we stayed at Hotel Andalucia Plaza. Excellent hotel with good 4 star facilities and the biggest foyer/common areas I've ever seen in a hotel!
Casino attached to hotel open till 5am provided some enetertainment after sampling nightlife in the Port area.
"Golf"
Courses played were:-
1. La Cala - a favourite of our previous gold trips and this year proved no exception. Stunning views across Andalucia and the backdrop of mountains and views ot over the Med are incredible.
the golf course provides 36 holes of hilly and testing golf requiring accuracy and guts!
2. Attalaya Old - a more English style course with some good golf holes. A good round will provide some decent scores here and is also playable by higher handicappers
3. La Duquesa - a testing tightand hilly course which winds its way through villas and new and still being built property. A course that has some intersting holes but let down by poor condition in places and unusual positioning on some holes. Not for the faint hearted as villas are likely to come into play for some drives!
"Nightlife in Puerto Banus"
Abundance of bars, clubs, restaurants and just general people watching!
Favourites include Sinatra's Bar on corner of Port area where everyone meets!
Move on to Vinny Samways for some good music and beer with a cool crowd
Red Lion provides some more traditional English type decor
Linekers - busy like everywhere here
Marvellous Bar - make up your own mind but didn't think it was very marvellous personally
