Bus Tranportation

by rikmortier

Hi,

I need to go by bus from Marbella to 29649 Mijas-Costa (Carretera de Cadiz, Las Buganvillas). Which busline do I have to take?

Kind regards, Rik

The bus Marbella-Fuengirola. If it hasn't changed since 1988 (!), there is a bus stop at Las Buganvillas. Stayed there many times....

Travel Tips for Marbella

Rubbish containers - Contenedores de basura

by spanishguy

Marbella is a very clean city. It take care about all the little details that have the difference between a city and another. One of this facts is something as the rubbish containers, at least in old town. They are very nice and elegant, as you can see, all of them made in wood and metal. If it wasn't like that, I'll not mention it in my tourist web!

by LoriPori

Thought to be one of the most ancient Christian buildings in Marbella,IGLESIA DE SANTO CRISTO or Santo Cristo Church, dates back to the 16th century.. The building was enlarged in the 18th century and a camarin tower was added. The church has one sole nave. Located in the Plaza Santo Cristo.
I thought it was an absolutely wonderful little church as it was so simple, yet so beautiful.

PUERTO BANUS

by LoriPori

An exclusive seaside resort, PUERTO BANUS is THE meeting-point of the jet-set in Marbella. Here you will find the most beautiful and luxurious yachts, the most elegant shops and the best restaurants. We thought of it as the place to see and be seen. Many folks were out on a beautiful sunny Saturday afternoon just enjoying themselves at the many sidewalk cafe's or just strolling among the beautiful yachts moored in the harbour. Many used their yachts as a week-end getaway place (probably too expensive to actually sail them).

Buses from Marbella

by Carmela71

In this area bus is the only option if you do not wanna rent a car (and trafic can be our nightmare in summer seriously lol) ....

Timetables are not very trustfull but they will give you and idea, for more information about other buses ..take a look at www.marbella.com at buses timetables...

Unusual selection and variety.

by Beach_dog about La Tricicleta

Situated in a small street in Old Town Marbella, we ate on a small rooftop terrace with parachute canopies surrounded by pot plants. The interior decorations were very interesting, no effort has been wasted in providing an interesting atmosphere and ambience. Very helpful and friendly waiter staff made the meal all the more pleasant. The food was very varied with some very pleasant combinations of food, meticulously prepared and excelently presented. I think the best term to describe the food would be European, drawing on styles and ingredients from around Europe. For starters I had mushrooms served with two cheeses, followed by Sea Bass served with a pesto sauce and black olives, I really enjoyed the meal. All the food we had or saw was good. Although I have listed the prices as above average compared with the surrounding area, it was not excessive, the little extra we spent was well worth it, for the good food and surroundings.
