Family Friendly hotel/apartment

by LONDONSP

Hello
Me and my family (including 2 year old son) are planning on travelling to Marbella in June, can anyone recommend a goos Hotel Apartment for 2 weeks rental. Responable price on/near the beach. Pref not to be too near lots of Hen and Stag party groups
Thank you

Princessa Playa or El Rodeo.

The former is billed as a 5 star aparthotel and is right on the beach.

The latter is a 4 star, where you cross the main road, then the beach is 150 yards further on.

Travel Tips for Marbella

Perfect Conditions To Work

by RoyJava

Most of us do like the idea to sit down at a terrace, relax and enjoy the passers-by. Well, this center of the Jet-Set and Show Business offers beautiful boulevards, promenades, parks and gardens, as well as those romantic narrow lanes in the best Moorish or Andalusian tradition that gave Marbella's unmistakable its personality.

Though that city's personality pales by its moving capacity of tourists. Take the shadow for the substance and zoom in at an individu. You'll be amazed by its motivation to be seen and to see. At the South of Spain, Marbella offers you this opportunity. To be or not to be,... wasn't that the question ... ??? Well, enjoying your long drink, after a hard workin' day, and watching the passer-by's stands the best chance at Puerto Banus. Go for a window shopper's dream with several of the world renowned fashions houses, in addition some small, interesting shops and boutiques you can't miss. It was a pity we couldn't enjoy the nightlife buzzes at Puerto Banus. Puerto Banus, I do come back in future time ... for the perfect holiday conditions this time ;-)

MOORISH CASTLE

by LoriPori

As you walk through the Old Town of Marbella, you will come across theMOORISH CASTLE. It is quite a sight to see and is amazingly in good shape, although it has gone through different stages of repair over the years. It is the only one conserved from the Muslim era.

SALDUBA or SINATRA

by Carmela71 about At Puerto Banus

In the entrnce corner of Puerto Banus you can find these two bars with terraces.

The people that go here is normally Northern European, lots of Brits, Swedes, Danes...

Another place to go if you like to be seen by people , again not my style, but well on vacation always is diferent!

drinks expensive (in comparation with pubs in marbella) See more in My Puerto Banus page

A NO recomendation

by Carmela71 about LA PESQUERA...

There is a chain of restaurants called LA PESQUERA, that may be recomended by the receptionist at the hotel, but the service is awful, and the relation quality price is not very good

Service is awful slowly, the come always twice to ask you things, and sometimes can be rude....

UPDATE Change of ownership, some fo them were bought by the actual workers and I was told they were good, others became Italian through a Pizza Chain
