Tourist information -Información turística
by spanishguy
It's very easy to strool and visit all the interesting places in the old town because of the tile city maps placed on different walls in the area. One way of another, if you are searching for more information you can go to one of the tourist office information. There is one in "Plaza de los Naranjos", next to the Town Hall and one more under the Marbella's Arch, at the city entrance.
by LoriPori
As you stroll through the Parque de la Alameda, you will come across many sculptures. This one of a lady surfing was once located in the beach area, I was told.
Notice the tropical plants and the absolutely wonderful "Birds of Paradise" surrounding the sculpture.

1st November 2002 (same date each year)...in Marbella.
Dia de Toston, a tradition involving country picnics to roast chestnuts and wash them down with local wines.
But lately we prefer to go to a ruta Taskera lol and let the countryside for another day with less people around lol

AWESOME ATMOSPHERE
by LoriPori about DA BRUNO SUL MARE RISTORANTE
Carmen and Stace wanted to take me out for dinner for my birthday. As I was in the mood for Italian, we chose DA BRUNO SUL MARE RISTORANTE in Marbella. It was an awesome atmosphere, as we had a tenor singing while we ate. He did a wonderful rendition of "My Way". The staff were very efficient and professional. I had a wonderful Ravioli stuffed with spinach in a delicious meat sauce. Hans had Lasagna which he said was very good. We all had appelstrudel for dessert. All in all it was a wonderful meal and I enjoyed it immensely. Thank you so much Carmen and Stace. Love you guys.
