Can you inform me abouth the seafishing from Nerja or nearby. We want to come to Nerja next year (2009) in june and the four of us want to do at least 3 days of seafishing. Can you give me some emailadresses or internetsites from fishingboats who can take us for the fishingtrips.

There is some reasonably good sea fishing to be had in the area, but I am nuts on the sport and regularly go to Gran Canaria where the conditions and catches are superb.

Completed in 1697 the CHURCH OF EL SALVADOR has three naves with square supports and round vaults. The exterior features a four sided bell tower built in 1724.
The interior features a contemporary mural by Francisco Hernandez Dias, which depicts the "Annunciation" set on one of Nerja's beaches.
Just three kilometres east of Nerja are the Cuevas de Nerja, or Nerja caves, beside the unspoilt village of Maro.
It contains the worlds larges stalagmite pillar and also wall paintings that date from the Palaeolithic and post-Palaeolithic periods
Open daily from 1030 - 1400 and 1600 - 1800 (1600 - 2000 in July and August).
Spanish Guitar Bar.
Do visit this Spanish bar for a wonderful evening of music. Guitar music at its best. Not played wholy for the tourist, but for the sheer joy of playing.
You will feel so special when they play without the lights and just with the candles lit for the Icon of the Madonna. It made a tear come to my eye as I was so moved by this.
Price range:
Quite expensive for a Spanish bar but it is in a high price area of town and the music is free.

The best Old style rustic Spanish decor that I have seen.

Not wheelchair friendly as there many steps down to the bar. Smart casual.
here we are the 3 mosqueters, friends from Uni, that still we keep in contact as often as when can.
Placido lives ther, and has his own pub, so it is great to be there, enjoying good music (he is and will be always my favorite discjockey, as to locals about Plax)

Whilst walking along the coastline one morning, looking out at the sea, feet in water, thinking how lucky I am to be here, I looked over towards the fields and this herd were walking along the beach!!!
This pic just cracks me up - I found it so amusing at the time, I suppose it just goes to show that wherever you visit in the world you are just visiting someones home - Life goes on.
