Walking it all off!
It was a cool and windy spot even at noon
a little bitty showing off sure ,but she is GOOD.
Inside the caves
Visited this splendid tiny restaurant last year and Thelma told us she was closing down. Did this happen? we are returning to Nerja next week and I would love to know if the premises still exists
Unfortunately Thelma's restaurant did close and when we out there in March this year nothing had replaced it. It was a shame Thelma went as the food was certainly delicious, totally unique compared to the normal indian cuisine on offer.

We had a great dinner at the restaurant of a friend and them went out till morning..
I love nightlife in nerja, we went to Obelix most of the night with our friends.
My friend Placido who used to be the discojokey there, has open a new pub, as soon as i tried i will bring updated information ....

A little note:
Sometimes you will see a bar appears to have two names. The LARGER one is usually the accepted name (but not always) of the bar. I think that you cannot remove a Spanish name from a bar (I may be wrong).
Anyway it's a Spanish thing !
Examples are Jago's. Is also El Carillion.
and The Coach & Horses. Is also El Bodegon.
British Sports Cafe/Bar.
Legends is a very sporty cafe / bar.
There are pictures of various football grounds decorating the bar. The colour scheme is purple (an odd colour).
Snacks are on offer here and there is a terrace outside with a TV as there are also two TVs inside.
Draught Guinness, John Smiths and San Miguel are sold here.
Football and other sports are shown on TV and advertised on their board outside.
Price range:
Good value for money this close to the sea front.
Atmosphere;
Not bad at all for this underused bar.
Theme:
Very football oriented throughout.
Opening times:
Bar currently CLOSED.
Disabled notes:
Warning: Steps down to the terrace and entrance. There is a ramp but it's very steep. Casual.
Good local restaurant with outside seating. Great view of countryside from outside seats. Staff all Spanish but menu is in English as well as Spanish. Good toilets. Brocheta Spescado, grilled mixed fish on skewers
Go for a drive beyond Frigiliana and visit some of the other little towns in the interior like Competa for instance. They are mostly built on the sides of hills and are quite charming. Meals will also be cheaper.
The scenery is lovely too.
