Mi Casa, Tu Casa: Great Marbella Accomodation
We chose to stay in a rental property rather than one of the hotels in the area and it was great. The property was just like a second home we stayed in Bahia Alcantara in San Pedro and it was amzing. There was a swimming pool, it was only metres away from the beach and walking distance to Puerto Banus. The apartment was furnished to a really high standard and had a full kitchen which had everything you could possibly need. The kids loved it and the rental agents Mi Casa, Tu Cas organised a Babysitter for us so we had a great night out in Puerto Banus.
I would recommend this to anyone who is bored with the normal hotel room as you definitely get more for your money!!!!
Unique Quality: As it was an apartment we even asked to see others and they were furnished just as well but differently it really was like a home from home. Lorraine at www.micasa-tucasa.com looked after us brilliantly and we really enjoyed our stay and we are visiting again this year!!

Park Plaza Suites: Beware of the cost of your stay.
We booked a twelve night self catering suite/flat at the Park Plaza Hotel in January 2007. We booked our stay via email with the Hotel Manager who confirmed the rate per night payable on arrival. We arrived with four tired children at nearly midnight only to be told by that manager that the hotel had been taken over by a new owner who had increased the rate by over 40 euros per night making a total increase of 480 euros. They then insisted that we pay up front and refused to give us our suite until we did. Despite having our email address the Hotel had made no effort to inform us of this increase, instead waiting until we arrived before we were told. Thet refused to see that an email from the manager confirming our total fee should be a binding contract. We have had to lodge a complaint through the Spanish Tourist Board in order to try to claim back some of our money.
