    it has been almost been said everything - it is simply great and you will enjoy your stay in any way, even if the walls may be a little bit thin... it is LOVELY!

    Simply Unique! Great Garden great view, nice interiors, free drinks all day along, perfect.

    It has all been said already but this hotel has got to be one of the most laid back, welcoming and interesting. There is a gentile "hand knitted" feel to it but that is not to say that the establishment is anything other than well-run and spotless. We had the Tower Room which is not for the fainthearted as you enter by the bathroom and climb two flights to the bedroom. The climb is well worth it though as the bedroom opens out onto a balcony overlooking the rooftops and surrounding countryside, not to mention the aviary.
    My partner had his siesta (he's Norwegian!) and I spend twenty minutes in each of the delighful courtyards and terraces, not to mention having a good browse through the many coffee table books in the library whose design is Austin Powers meets Ernest Hemmingway! Helping oneself in the bar is at first a little awkward but eventually allows for chat with strangers. An American woman and I were trying to find orange juice, both without our spectacles, there were at least eight different kinds of bottled fruit juice, but we had a laugh together. The brunch was fun with everything from fruit kebabs to churros (long donuts) to eggs and ham in individual little frying pans. Smiling staff and a feeling of complete freedom from the stuffy mores of more conventional hotels made this a wonderful stay. I didn't want to leave the hotel as we had only one night as a birthday treat for me but eventually I was persuaded to venture into the town. On our return I poured myself a Moscatel from a cask and a beer for my man and we sat on our balcony watching the shadows from the coloured lights throw magical patterns on the white walls of the hotel walls and the stars and moon overhead. Couldn't have asked for a better birthday present and will return for any good reason - like "It's Wednesday!"

    Plenty of places to sit outside for sun and shade. Pool smallish but not busy. Views over countryside excellent. Eclectic design. Air con in room. Some rooms have access by lift. Feeling that there was an element of whimsy and fun and also tranquility. Excellent welcome and tour from staff and lovely goodbyes too.

  • Directions: Excellent directions on website, both map and street by street, hotel in a quiet street so parking not a problem, at least in wasn't in June. Near to Iglesia de Nuestro Padre Jesus.

    • Low-key service. Delicious buffet, squeeze-your-own fresh orange juice, espresso machine, wine and beer included in price. Excellent en-suite rooms. If you're not up for a rather hip place, forget it. You should definitely NOT have children in this place.

    Enfrente Arte would be a splurge for budget travelers, but you can justify the extra cost by realizing that you have some food and drinks included in the price. We were very happy with the experience.

    Located in a non-touristy neighborhood of Ronda, this unusual accommodation provided us with a gorgeous and quiet room, plenty of buffet and beverage choices around the clock, and no annoying schedule for breakfasts or anything else. There was a computer we could use from time to time. The features of the common areas were out of the ordinary. The rooftop views were great, too. There's a pool up there, but we didn't try it in October.

    ON THE WEBSITE IT LOOKED GREAT BUT THAT COULD NOT CONVEY THE ATMOSPHERE AND THE REALITY WAS EVEN BETTER. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO RELAXED IN AN HOTEL. WE WERE IN THE TOWER ROOM WHICH IS IN THE GROUNDS.
    THE HOTEL IS A BLAST OF COLOUR AND IN THE EVENING THE LIGHTS THROW BEAUTIFUL COLOURS ONTO THE WHITE WALLS. HELPING YOURSELF TO DRINKS BEHIND THE BAR IS LIBERATING RATHER THAN INCONVENIENT. STAFF EXCELLENT. BRUNCH IS SERVED TILL 12 NOON - THE HOT FOOD SERVED IN LITTLE INDIVIDUAL FRYING PANS. EVERYTHING FROM FRUIT KEBABS TO EGGS AND SAUSAGE. TOWN IS A TEN MINUTE WALK THROUGH COBBLED STREETS. DON'T GO THERE IF YOU PREFER YOUR SURROUNDINGS MINIMALIST AND WHITE! WE HAD AN ACCORDION IN OUR BEDROOM AND BRIGHT ORANGE WALLS WITH AFRICAN PRINTS.

    WLIL BE RETURNING IN A FEW MONTHS WITH FRIENDS AS WE LOVED IT SO MUCH.

    THE HOTEL IS VERY MUCH ALIVE, WITH COLOUR, GREENERY, LIGHT, AN AVIARY WITH COCKATOOS AND A FEW GUINEA PIGS TOO! SEVERAL TERRACES FOR SUN AND SHADE. AN EXCELLENT LIBRARY OF COFFEE TABLE BOOKS. ALL ECLECTICALLY DECORATED. WONDERFUL VIEWS OVER THE SURROUNDING COUNTRYSIDE.

    I came accross the website and really liked the pictures so I decided to book it although it was a little expensive.
    We stayed at the a B type room and it was huge, the decor was great and the small bathroom was just lovely.
    The help yourself option at the bar makes you feel right at home.

    The whole place is unique. All levels of the guesthouse interconect and there are lots of cute corners, small ponds with big fish, terraces, etc. You really need to experience it to understand it.
    The breakfast is simply the best I've ever had. There are tiny quayle eggs done to your choice, lots of local sausages and stuff like that, churros and crepes, salmon carapccio (for real!!), home made jams, etc.

    A very well situataed hotel and an original "way of life" inside.
    The customers are received like in the house of every one. You can eat, drink and do what you need.Its a sort of all inclusive, but an intelligent one.
    The environement is very nice and each is different and very cosy with very good installations.
    Outward, the sight is splendid and thereare many little gardens and terraces....
    A very cosy place.

    Of course there is a pool , and an original large bird-cage where you can drink something with birds.
