I stayed here one night in 2004 on my way from Malaga to Algeciras to Morocco. I had come this way to see the scenic route - particularly the recommended scenic train route - from Ronda to Algeciras.
No one spoke English but it was fine - the hotel was modern but with some character and was clean and tidy. No breakfast was included but had an ensuite and for 21 euro for a single room was good value.
About 10 minutes walk from the railway station but handy to the centre of town and the sights around the main centre.
Suited me and the people running it were very pleasant - in keeping with its name 'Friendly Hotel'!.
