Your haven in Barrio Santa Cruz

I like staying here because its SO convenient. You are close to everything. Its a small, family run hotel without services like a restaurant but who needs that? The people who work there have always been very friendly on the two occasions that I have stayed there and have given me good advice as to where to see flamenco and finding places to eat. Its not a bare bones budget hostal but it is simple and comfortable. Its advisable to call well in advance to make reservations in the high season.

Unique Quality: All rooms have A/C and showers. Some with private bathroom. The lobby decoration is very Spanish and the rooms are centered around a courtyard.

Decent budget hostal in Caceres

by Paul2001 about The Hostal Goya

I actually had a fairly hard time finding a place to stay while in Caceres. That was because it was a Friday and Caceres is quite popular with Spanish tourists. Hotels book up on weekends. Therefore I ended up at this hostal which was way down on my list to check out. I was not disappointed in the hotel itself. I got what I paid for. The rooms were clean but dark. They also had a TV which is a rarity for budget hostals in Spain. The hotel is right on the plaza mayor. I would recommend that you get a room away from the square itself as it is noisy, especially on Saturday nights. There lots of decent restaurants and good bars nearby. The hostal is also just a short walk from Caceres main attraction, that being it's atmospheric old town.

Sevilla Hostels/Cheap Hotels

by numaan

Hi I will visit Sevilla for 3 nights in late January. Can anyone recommend any cheap hotels or hotels located in the centre of town close to all the nightlife and shopping? I cant seem to find much listed on the inernet and those that are are not highly recommended! Help!I want to stay somewhere with good facilities, especially clean bathrooms/shower! max budget around 25 euros per night.

Thanks

Numaan

I stayed in Hostal Goya in Mateus Gago, great location, basic, clean and probably overpriced (and above your budget possibly, though I was there in May). I spoke to someone (Aussie) who had stayed in Pension Fabiola, just round the corner; Tiny place, about half the price, and they were very pleased with it.
