A Good Hotel away from the crowds
My wife and I stayed four nights at this hotel, and were very pleased with our spacious and well furnished room, which had excellent air conditioning. The staff were friendly and helpful, but not very good at speaking English, which might put off some people. We just found it amusing. For us the location across the river in Tiriana was a real bonus. It takes a good 15 minutes to walk to the centre, and this might not be much fun in the height of summer. In May it was just under 80 degrees and the humidity was low, so it was very pleasant, and there were lots of places to stop for a cold drink on the way back. If you don't feel like walking, taxis are plentiful and cheap.
In the evening we found so many places to eat, from tapas bars to classy restaurants, that there was no point in going anywhere else so we were never more than a few minutes stagger from the hotel. There were not many other tourists, so again there were not many English speakers, but it didn't matter too much and we did just fine.

Zenit Sevilla. Pleasant 4 star hotel.
This hotel is one that provides family rooms (we had 2 adults, a 4 year old and a 1 year old in one room). Not all do so.
The restaurant had menu del dia and menu degustacion and there was also a bar/cafeteria.
The hotel had a car park but no recreational facilities.

A Nice First-Class Hotel In Triana District
HOTEL ZENIT SEVILLA is located in the quiet Triana district. It is less than a 5-minute walk to the Guadalquiver river and about a 15-minute walk to the city center. It's also in close proximity to the island of La Cartuja, where the theme park of "Isla Magica" is located.
The hotel's main restaurant serves typical Andalucian cuisine. We had dinner here on our first night in Sevilla (too tired to venture further than our hotel's front steps) and it was a memorable meal. Memorable because we played another one of our many pranks... this time on the restaurant staff. :-) Yes, we were obviously very bored and in a playful mood (read: me).
But hey, the manager of the restaurant was very game/great sense of humor and even presented our table with a bottle of Spanish wine - compliments from the restaurant.
Unique Quality: I must have done something right (again) because they upgraded me to a junior suite here at the hotel.
Note: A junior suite at this hotel costs between EUR 200-250.
The room is gorgeous! Such kind gestures are very much appreciated by folks like myself.
In short, I highly, highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sevilla.
