Good Hostel, Central, Great atmosphere

I enjoyed my stay at this hostel- a lovely atmosphere, close to the sites, and reasonably priced.

I booked for 3 nights, in an 8 bedded female dorm, with shared bathroom - (I was having to keep to a tight budget this trip) through Booking.com.
This cost 11 Euros per night - so total price for 3 nights including breakfast was 33 euros.

I received a friendly welcome from the receptionist (All the staff here were very friendly and helpful)

My room was on the 3rd floor, reached by elevator. An 8 bedded female dorm - a bit cramped, but manageable - though with 8 females sharing the bathroom, you had to be organised, and not linger too long! The smaller dorm off of this dorm had an en suite bathroom, which was nicer.

The room had air con/heating. My first night, I hadn't realised there was air con, the window was open, but it was still stifling. The second day, I came back to a much cooler room, and was pleased to find there was air con working.

Breakfast was served on the top floor- A large communal table inside, or smaller tables on the outside terrace. There is a kitchen, with toaster, kettle, coffee maker, oven and fridge. My only quibble was that there wasn't enough crockery, or cutlery- so at breakfast, you had to wait for someone to finish using theirs, or improvise!

Unique Quality: Good location, just off the main routes, so not so noisy, but within walking distance of the sights. About 5 minutes walk from Plaza Nuevo, down the old narrow streets.

Help yourself to tea/ coffee etc.

I really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere here- My last night I wandered up to the top floor to get a cup of tea. There was a group sat around the table- much younger than me, but very friendly- They were from Athens, Munich and Paris. I ended up sitting chatting until the early hours.

I'd certainly stay here again.
