by felisia

Check: www.renfe.es

by puerto_lover

felisia- where are you ?
No discount for 3 persons travelling together.
If you can make and pay for an Internet booking in advance, then you can get a cheaper ticket using www.renfe.es
However the web site is in Spanish and you may need to find some more guidance.
To benefit from Internet ticket booking you have to wait until 62 days, or less, before day of travel. Sometimes you can obtain a discounted fare on the fast train AVE which is normally about Euros 77 single or about Euros 140 return.

There is an english version: http://www.renfe.es/horarios/english/index.html, and look for "web" or "star" discounts; apart from that, it's a very tricky site indeed

you have a very good explanation of how to use the www.renfe.es website here:

Sevilla is an old town full of charm and contrasts. There are some visits you mustn’t miss: cathedral and its bell-tower (Giralda), Alcazar and its garden, Maria Luisa park and plaza de España. Look for the courtyards full of flowers! Most of the monuments are Mudejar style, i.e., christian monuments made by christians and islamic craftsmen. Alcazar

Pilgrims Progress...At The Sevilla Cathedral

by Krystynn

Make a short pilgrimage to the Sevilla Cathedral to pray; or to admire its lovely architecture... or maybe even to pay your last respects at the Tomb of Christopher Columbus (please shoot yourself if you don't know who this great man is).

Later, you may also wish to climb to the top of La Giralda... for an awe-inspiring view of the entire city of Sevilla.

Horse Rides

by Carmela71

ok, you got me here .... this people can get your nerves offering their coaches for rides, but i will explain that on warnings lol

I have to say, that at the end I regreted now having it done, as at night it must had been very special touch for a nice wekeend ... but my experience in Marbella with horse coaches is that they do nto treat them very well (i mean car drivers sometimes really scare them lol)

Day 39

by into-thin-air

My original plan was to walk to Cea ,21.6k and stay in the refugio there but we decided to walk on the extra 12k to Castro Dozon (33.6k in total) Unfortunately when we got there the only Hostal in the village had closed so as it was getting late and as the next available accommodation was another 20k away we decided to catch a bus to Lalin where we found a Hostal, stayed the night and caught an early morning bus back to Castro Dozon the next day to continue the walk !!
Good lunch stop at Cea
Great views as you approach Castro Dozon
