Varied Architectural Influences
by acemj
History has shaped Sevilla into a colorful tapestry of varying architectural styles. Once inhabited by the Romans and later held by the Moors, Sevilla benefited from many cultural influences that are evidenced today by sights like this Mudejar tower. I enjoyed being able to see classical Greek columns, Baroque facades and Moorish arches all within five minutes of each other on the streets of Sevilla.
postal services

If you are in Seville you might want to send a postcard to friends or family. Maybe to show them how wonderful the city is, or just to make them jealous.
In this case you need the services of the Correos, the spanish postal services. Their colors are yellow and blue. Their website: http://www.correos.es is in spanish only.
Stamps required for mailing postcards or letters are sold at Postoffices and outlets known as estancos (establishments authorised to sell tobacco, stamps and seals)
I don't think all of Spain is...

I don't think all of Spain is like this, but I definitely noticed it in Seville. If you don't flag a waiter down and ask for a check at the end of your meal, you will probably end up sitting there forever. Throughout Western Europe, there is a relaxed attitude about eating, and you are rarely encouraged to leave your table quickly after a meal, but it is more pronounced here.
