Situated right next to the Cathedral in the Plaza Virgen de los Reyes is the pinkish colored Archbishop's Palace. I didn't go inside, but it is possible to visit the interior which contains artwork by Murillo among others.
The Plaza Virgen de los Reyes is located next to the Giralda. But this square has some other nice things to discover too.
The fountain in the middle of the square is from the start of the 20th century, made by José Lafita. The heads, from which the water comes, on it are copies of roman heads from the Casa de Pilatos. In the right of the picture you see the cathedral, and the white building is the Convento de la Encarnacion. It is dating back to 1591.
Not in the picture is the Palazio Archbispal.
This is an old Jewish Quarter with narrow streets and white tenements with beautiful, colourful patios. This area is really charming and there are many great monuments and places here. Some of them are: La Giralda, Reales Alcazares, Archivo de Indias, Jardines de Murillo, Plaza Virgen de los Reyes.
The main pickup points for a carriage ride are at the Plaza Virgen de los Reyes in front of the Cathedral and the Alcazar or at Plaza de Espana. The horse-drawn carriages take you through the main tourist sections of Sevilla and the drivers offer commentary.

A group of friends from university days are all visiting Sevilla this weekend, we are interested in any recommendations for a good local restaurant where we can book for a group of 14 people on the Saturday evening (I guess we're looking to eat between 21.00 and 24.00hrs).
Most of us are travelling back on Sunday evening on a flight leaving Sevilla at 21.40hrs, is it likely that we could attend the Real Betis match that evening and still be able to get to the airport an hour early?
..and one last question, are there any recommended bars where anyone wishing to watch British football/rugby on the Sunday afternoon can do so?
Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer.
El Giraldillo at c/ Plaza Virgen de los Reyes 2, 41003 Sevilla right next to the Giralda is good. Last time I went to a Betis game it started at 9.00pm
Some good tapas bars near the restaurant - popular one for a pre dinner drink is Las Columnas on other side of road further up into bario Santa Cruz. Not sure about watching TV on Sunday.
Thanks for the assistance. Cheers.
