How do you track down a local?

by Deefstes

Hi there all,

Seems I might be travelling to Spain soon. Can't wait!!!!

A couple of years back I worked in Dublin and used to have a colleague by the name of José-Ramon Lamenca Lalaguna who initially came from Zaragoza and later returned to Zaragoza.

I would love to be able to trace him down again so I can say hi when I visit Spain but I'm getting desperate. Anyone got any ideas how I can go about to find an individual in such a big place?

Very easy: you only have to look at him at the local phone guide.

Actually, there is a web version of the phone guide (enter http://www.paginasblancas.es) ... and his address and phone number are there. If you don't understand Spanish, I'll send you the result by E-Mail (I prefer not to write a private address in a public boeard)

Ismael's tip was a good one.
I've just used it to track down an old friend in Barcelona.
While I was at it I found your friend in Zaragoza.
There is only one person with that name there.
I'll send it to your contact site.

Travel Tips for Zaragoza

Zaragoza

by Polly74

Zaragoza is the culminant point in the valley of Ebro, Spain's most water-bearing river, in an impressive landscape with picturesque villages and very old traditions and popular customs.

Thisis one of the great monumental towns in Spain. It was founded some 2000 years ago, and Old-Iberians, Romans, Goths and Arabians equally left their heritage. It as well includes important buildings of Spanish baroque.
Today the town is economically very active, and organizes several important international fairs.
