Visit El Pilar and La Seo two cathedrals in the same square, and don't forget the Aljaferia because is the most important building in mudejar style (melange of roman and arabic style). Like me, you will miss the quiet life of a spanish medium city. There is not stress in my city althought we are 700.000 people living in.

"Zaragoza: a friendly place to have fun"

Zaragoza is a middle town in northeast Spain very well located. About 700.000 inhabitants.
In the middle of the way between Madrid and Barcelona (300 Km from each), is a good place to reach some of the most beatiful cities in northern Spain.
San Sebastian basq city is also 300 km away by freeway. As well as above mentioned Barcelona & Madrid.
If you have time you can reach The Aragonese Pyrenees in about 2 hours by road. Excellent Ski resorts there and France is next door.
It's an excellent place and not enough known among travelers, but it's well worth for a couple of days and for preparing the next step in your trip through your following spanish destination.
Enjoy its people you'll get surprised by their friendliness!!!
