OLD BUT YOUNG
"TAPAS"
YOU SHOULDN'T MISS THE FOLLOWING PLACES:
- Calle Moneva: a typical street, just behind the Paseo de la Indepencia, one of the main avenues of the city. There can be found several tapas' bars.
- Calle Santa Catalina: taking the same Paseo de la Independencia, once getting to the Corte Ingles take the street to the right, called Calle San MIguel. Walking down that street , one of the streets to the left is the Santa Catalina. You will find there the "Erzo" tapa's bar. Incredibly good the Cheese-ham and other pork magnificiencies plates. Very recommendable.
- Walking down the Paseo de la Independencia, go to the Plaza de España (you will see a McDonald's on your right). In the building in front of the Plaza de España, there is a tinny street called CALLE DE LOS MARTIRES. Take the first corner to the right and you'll see a pub in front. Well, take the next to the left and you'll be in CALLE CINEGIO. I don't recall the name of the place, but is the little bar beside the Olimpo bar/restaurant. We went to that little tapas' bar once and besides having great things to eat, the price was very good too.
"RESTAURANT"
In the Tubo (the old part of the city) there is a very nice restaurant called Triana. It looks like a Andalusian patio and they have great food there and for a nice price. Is in the CALLE ESTEBANES 7, also in the old part of the city or Tubo.
Every time I go to that city I rather eat tapas that go to a restaurant, so I won't be able to recommend you many more.
