Strolling and shopping
Alfonso Street is one if the main strolling, shopping area in the city. It goes from Plaza de Pilar to Plaza de Espana.
There are all kinds of shops and antiques but the most common here are the jewellery shops and galleries.

Hi,
How is it possible to travel from Zaragoza (airport) to Estella (to Camino Frances) - train or bus and what are the scedules?
Thank you for the answer!
Greetings,
Jelka
Hi.
I have done a quick search in the internet and it seems there is no direct link betwen Zaragoza and Estella(Lizarra in vasq lenguage).
You should go from the airport to the train/coach station. There is a direct/cheap coach service at the door(at least there was some months ago).
At the coach station there are some buses from Zaragoza to Pamplona every day. (link to the schedule) http://www.condasa.com/ruta_base.php?idi=cas&id=34
From Pamplona to Estella/Lizarra there are SEVERAL buses every day.(http://www.autobusesdenavarra.com/siv/internet/resbusqueda.jsp?Origen=31_201&Destino=31_97&Fecha=27%2F5%2F2009&HoraInicio=&HoraFin=&chk_L=on&chk_M=on&chk_X=on&chk_J=on&chk_V=on&chk_S=on&chk_D=on)
Sorry, I have searched for english versions...with no luck. If you prefeer train, I think it would be the same itinerary.
A bus company called LA ESTELLESA
http://www.laestellesa.com
has a timetable for Pamplona to Estella so maybe get the fast bus from Zaragoza to Pamplona first. People like CONDA do it : http://www.condasa.com/ruta_base.php?idi=eng&id=35
There is a bus from the Zaragoza airport to the city.
Its usually better to avoid travelling by buses at weekends because more choices during the week on less popular routes like Pamplona to Estella.
