Madrid to Cangas De Onis

Hiya !!

Me, with another question again!!!
I may have found some accommodation in either Cangas De Onis or Arriondas.

Please could you advise me how to get there, or where I can look to find out how to get there!

I will be coming from Madrid on 23Dec as early as possible, and leaving morning/afternoon on 26Dec back to Madrid.

I need to travel fairly cheaply as we are on a budget!

Ive looked at Renfe and neither place is listed so I am guessing that they dont have a train station, I also checked buses on Movilia and its obviously all in Spanish without an English option, it looks like its giving me a bus from Mad to Valladolid and change to Cangas!

When I went to Cangas De Onis it was also in the off season (not in summer). Actually I didnt plan to go there, it was where we had to change busses coming back from Covadonga. You definately have to take a bus and there are only a few a day, its a pretty small town. Anyway, When I went I took a bus from Oviedo. Sorry I don't know any specific information but just make sure you know return bus times so you dont miss your other transportation back to Madrid.

If you have money enough get a plane from Madrid to Asturias airport (near Avilés) and there get a bus/train to Oviedo and there you´ll find an easier connection to Cangas de Onis.
If you cannot afford a plane then travel by bus from Madrid to Oviedo and there get a bus to Cangas.
Buses and trains take the same from Madrid to Oviedo and are slightly cheaper.
