Travel Tips for Cudillero
Cudillero. It's a bit like Cornwall

"What a Lovely town this is, or is it a village?"
We found this town the night after we'd had to sleep in the car. It was a Spanish Festival weekend and we could not get a room.
So we eventually got into the Airport hotel at around 11 am and got a couple of hours sleep. Cudillero was a very plesant surprise.
It looks like it could have been Cornwall or North Devon. A lovely old fishing town with it's own small harbour. The sea was teaming with fish. The restaurants and cafes on the seafront were as inviting as any I have ever seen.
We both had some grilled Tuna and some local sidra. I just wished I had not been driving, I could have stayed there for the rest of the day with a nice bottle of Rioja or maybe an Alberhino. There seemed to be a bottle of one or other on every table.
I think we'll go back next year and we'll stay in the village this time.

"Village by the Sea"
I don't really have anything informative about what to see or do in Cudillero, but it was my favorite place I visited in Asturias. I don't even have any decent pictures of the town. But I wanted to create a page about Cudillero for others to see how cute and perfect she is, even though I don't really have any tips. I can't say this place or that place is a must see- Cudillero is just a place that feels good. I dream about this place... I hope some day I can retire there because it really is a perfect little seaside village. It's a definite must-see if you visit Asturias.

Nearby are secluded beaches with rocky cliffs that guard her sandy shores from intruders. Only the locals know these magical places. If you visit the area you will have to ask to find out where they are or explore to find them for yourself.
Cuideiru is one of those places where you stroll the streets arm in arm at sunset, breathe in the fresh salt air and have a wonderful dinner afterward. This place has a really special feeling that is hard to articulate. I fell in love with it the moment I set foot in the city.
