The residents of Cudillero
by LanaFromRiga
The residents of Cudillero earn the qualifying name of "pixuetos" wich they maintain with great pride. The town is divided into two neighborhoods: one pertaining to the "pixuetos", fishing families who lie near the port, and the "Cail", those who involved with terrestrial trade. "Pixueto" is the native language of the residents of Cudillero, though it is now obsolete in the present day.
Cudillero
by pfsmalo
Cudillero is a lovely little village at the end of the road, nestled into an amphitheatre that drops down to the port. Makes me think of a Greek or Roman theatre. Superbly set with a constant view out to sea from higher up.
Sun shining, the port looks fine, but in bad weather the waves come rushing in from the Atlantic over those walls.
It is quite a hard walk up the narrow streets past the fishermen's houses up to the top where you canoverlook the whole town . There is a belvedere built where you can walk up even higher for great views out to sea.

"The beautiful lifestyle"
Look at this simple lines and bright colors! It's just a part of someones life, but so harmonic beautiful.
"Gracious animals"
Cudillero locates in mountains and there are many lizards. They're lazy taking sunbathes everywhere in streets of Cudillero.
"Narrow streets"
There aren't straight streets in Cudillero. When we climbed to the top, we can't understand is it still a street or it is a yard. Seems there are no titles of streetsin Cudillero, probably each house has the name (this variant is very popular in a small fishermen villages).
"Fish? Fish. Fish!"
If you start to strew bread topigeons in Riga, after a few minutes there will be dillion of them. The same effect with fish in Cudillero. One boy strewed some bread and a huge numerous of fish were in Cudillero port.
