Mieres Hotels

Going local..

I had the privilage of staying in someone's home when I was in Mieres, but to be honest, Mieres probably isn't the your best choice of places to stay in Asturias. It is a good place to visit for the day and a great place to meet people. It is also a nice location in regard to the fact it is located exactly in the center of Asturias and connects with both train lines (FEVE & RENFE) and the bus. But if you have the occasion to stay in Mieres these are the accomodations I know of in Mieres:

The photo is the view from the house on calle Jeronimo Ibran where I stayed. Unforunately it was a gray day when I took this picture, because I actually had a nice view. I used to enjoy standing on the balcony and listening to the clatter of dishes and laughter from the pub across the street.

Unique Quality: This is an excellent list of accomdations in the area surrounding Mieres. Included are hotels, B&Bs, casas de aldea, camping, etc. Quite a good list, I hope they keep it updated... check it out.
