Oviedo, the old and noble city
"Oviedo the old"
Oviedo is also known as "Vetusta" (the old/ancient), its name in the famous 19th-century novel "La Regenta". It is indeed an old city, but with the commodities of any modern city. It's small enough to be manageable on foot and big enough so that a visitor will not get bored too soon. Having lived here most of my life, I have to say I have a mixed love/hate relationship with it, but every single friend that has visited from abroad loved it.
