The costa verde is like its name says a very green (the greenest) part of spain. The only tourists who come here are Spanish. The costa Verde is a part of "El principado del Asturias".
Cudillero is a little typical Spanish fisherstown at the west side of Asturias.
This is the place where we stayed (at a camping). Ribadesella is situated in the east part of Asturias near the Picos de Europa.
This is a not (so) famous work from the well known Spanish architect Antonio Gaudi. This "sunflower" house of El Capricho in the town of Comillias is now a 'chique' restaurant. When you are in the neighboorhood you deffinately must have seen this. It's amazing!
Oviedo is the capital of Asturias. Its cathedral is a very good example of late gothic style architecture.
Santa Maria del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo are two pre-Romanesque churches in the direct neighboorhood of Oviedo. They were built in the 9th century and are now on the Unesco list of world heritage.
