we had a brilliant time at the sol cala blanca the hotel and room was very comfortable and the staff very friendly. the food and service was above average. we will certainly be going back next year

A very pleasant break
We are just back from a 5 day break at Sol Cala Blanca, this was our first time in Palma Nova and we wouldn't hesitate to visit again. The hotel was very clean, staff were really helpful and friendly and the location of the hotel was excellent.
Hopefully visit next year again!

Just returned from a Three night holiday to palma nova and stayed at the Sol Cala Blanca
Really nice hotel with a fantastic locatiion, Situated right on the beach,The accomodation is a little bit dated for a 4* but big and clean rooms, Ask for a higher floor as we were given a ground floor and got ate alive with mossies, maids were in rooms every day, The food was very tasty and very english, The pool area was very clean with a snack bar in situ, but used the beach as we are bit of beach Bums! Can't comment on enertainment as we went out every night, Our only dissapiontment to our holiday was England getting beat when we were over there great atmosphere though, I'm sure you will have a great holiday if you choose the Sol Cala Blanca
very nice hotel
Have stayed here quite a few times during winter months for a few days break, always found it very enjoyable sea view rooms are a nice size and well furnished. Staff are very good, the restaurant is OK hot and cold buffet think it could be repetitive if there for longer than a few days.The supplement cost for seaview rooms has become expensive now 15 euros each/day. They have entertainment in the hotel every night but can't say anything about quality as we go out.
Fantastic Hotel
Best Hotel stayed in Europe. Helpfull staff and food fantastic. Great location and no noise after midnight. If your looking for a Hotel in Palma Nova then look no further. Entertainment not for young families but can use entertainment facilities at any other Sol Hotel. Don't miss out...
Only if you are British or German
Hotel was mainly for tour operators from England and Germany (more of a senior citizen crowd). Very run down, bed was two twins pushed together-very hard mattress.
My boyfriend got food poisoning from the buffet breakfast.
Also, hotel is very cheap to its clientele- was astonished that you could not get a new beach towel or you would be charged 20 euros if you wanted a clean one the next day.
NOT a 4 Star hotel- felt like we were completely ripped off- paid 200 euros a night for something that would have been a 2 star hotel in the U.S.
Only Pro was that the beach was beautiful (BUT it is not necessary to stay on a beachfront hotel, so this pro is unfortunately not nearly enough to warrant a 4 star rating or 4 star price).
