Another World heritage in spain
by Carmela71
The World Heritage Committee inscribed Ibiza on the World Heritage List in 1999.
Everyday Spain surprises me with the amount of places protected or selected as universal patrimony.
Last week was Ubeda and now Ibiza …
And people still wonder why Spain is a top tourist destination, when we can offer culture, architecture, nightlife, excellent food, good beaches, great weather …… and I am sure I am forgetting something LOL

That’s my almond trees pic. In Ibiza there are a lot of almond trees all over the island. A mandel tree is not a very nice tree, not to big, anything special. Only in Feb. and Mars it gets full of very small white flowers and all the countryside in Ibiza gets lake in the Photo. It’s very colourful.
The Pics were taken in the Santa Ines Valley.

Foam Party Nights
by Jmill42 about Amnesia (Club)
I specifically chose not to go to Amnesia on this night. I have experienced a foam party before and didn't exactly have the greatest time. Plus, I wanted to see Timo Maas at Pacha that night, and wouldn't have given that up for anything. So, I missed what they call the Espuma Party at Amnesia! The foam party was born here at this club, years ago. It is the original "come and take a bath while you party because you have been partying for 8 days and you need one" place of soap worship. Don't wear your Sunday best!!!
Ibiza Town
by JulesH about La Oliva
This restaurant was a very popular spot in Ibiza old town. When we arrived to eat at the relatively early time of 8.30pm, we found all the pavement tables (on the right hand side of the picture) had been taken or reserved already. We were shown into a quaint little converted barn opposite which was both cosy and quiet but with a good view of the street. Our waiter was a rather eccentric frenchman who kept us laughing throughout the meal. I had mussels in garlic to start, followed by grilled swordfish (both extremely fresh and tasty) and a delicious creme catalan to finish.
