Hi,

SA airport is right on SA metropolitan area. Plenty hotels are nearby. Cabs should go under $30 easily. SA is a pretty safe city. As long as you act normally and with confidence nobody will bother you. In fact most people are very friendly.

Hi Virna,
I think the above post is answering for Texas as opposed to Ibiza where you are going . You will find the answers on the following webpage : http://www.toandfromtheairport.com/balearics.html#IBZ
Have a great time, Darren.

this si the website of the airport, check on practical information (they say 14 euros to Ibiza, so I guess it will be similar as it is closer to San antonio)

Safe? lol, as Safe as you want to be!

Ibiza has everything you want, incredible beaches for relax and/or party, incredible beach bars for chill out and/or party all night, incredible discos for party and/or party all night

Just enjoy it!!!! (I am so enviousssssss!!!! lol)

Yes sorry Varna in reply to the safe question i would advise you to be very careful where you leave your drink if you have to go to the toilet for example in a bar. There has been cases where drinks do get spiked ----- Do not let this put you off though as 'doing San Antonio' whilst you are young is an experience eveeryone should have in my opinion. The nightclubs are the best in the world, Darren.

Travel Tips for Ibiza

Do not miss the sunsets .....

by Carmela71

Another do not miss during the visit to the island is to enjoy a Sunset from San Antonio, there are many but of course if you like Café del Mar music this would be your starting point.

Maybe the sunset is not as spectacular as you expect (well clouds in the last half an hour did not help LOL) also it is crowded, if you prefer more quiet ones you have other places to go the next days.

But what makes it special is the atmosphere, the crowds, the people …..

Jump to it

by ettenaj

How to wear the kids out whilst on holiday???? just take them to this little amusement arcade so they can Jump for Joy!!! and tire themselves out. The grown up can have a drink and a snack whilst the kids enjoy themselves.

Getting Spiritual with OM

by joel_europa about El Divino (Club)

El Divino—I must say—is my favorite place to dance and spend time with my friends. The patio has a wonderful view of the city of Eivissa. From the patio you can listen to pumping sounds of the DJ, talk to your friends, and look at the Castle Dalt Vila as it lights-up in the night as if it were still protecting the inhabitants of Eivissa. The atmosphere in “El Divino” was very comfortable. I went to the OM party with Marques Wyatt and Charles Webster and it seemed the people who were there arrived to see the DJs perform not only for the bragging rights of going to Ibiza’s many clubs. People had there hands in the air and the night rocked all night; track after track on the turntables. No problems.

azucar

by balihai69 about azucar

the only real latin place i found in the island. some good salsas, merengues and bachatas, mixed with some comercial music. southamerican ambience, with some no latin people

Autos Bravo

by Jmill42

I would highly recommend that you rent a car when on Ibiza. Not to drive to or from the clubs, but to be able to explore the islands great beaches and cool towns. With the DiscoBus taking care of you between Sant Antoni and Ibiza Town, you can use your car tohead north and south for the spectacular scenery. I rented my car in Sant Antoni, real close to my hotel there, Hotel Orosol. It was about a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The service was great. They allowed me to return the car at the end of the day, when I was supposed to have the car back by 8 AM, with no additional charge.

They did fail to mention the appropriate steps to open the gas tank (see my Figueral Beach Tip), but overall they were great.
