One day trip to Ibiza from Valencia - is it possible ?

by Cruise-Nic

We are staying in Valencia and really wanted to do a day trip to Ibiza but I cannot find any ferry company offering a return sailing on one day ? Does anyone know of another option, another ferry company or a private hire possibly ? Any help much appreciated !

You can fly (check Iberia and Vueling)... but WHY do you want to do a daytrip to Ibiza? Hiring a saling boat for the day may be an (expensive) option, if your interest is sailing (as it will take you most of the day). If your interest is visiting the island, you need more time.

The previous contributor is right: why go to Ibiza and back in a day. As you don't give us any information about yourself, your intentions, your origins etc., difficult for other VT members to help you.

Travel Tips for Ibiza

Nudist beaches

by Carmela71

You will find that many beaches are nudist, so if you do not like them, just try to avoid them.

Normally they go to Beaches where access is not easy

Ibiza is a very relaxed island, where no one cares what you do if you respect them

Park your car

by DPando

In Ibiza town the main city of the island...most of the streets of ibiza are blue zone, such thing means that you have to pay per hours but i found a place behind the promenade where you dont have to do it..
If you are coming from San jose take the main street (EspaƱa Av) without turn left or right to the end, reach Vara del Rey avenue then when the last traffic light stop your straight way turn left looking for the promenade with ships, boats (Ramon tur avenue and after Santa Eulalia del rio avenue) .... straight ahead 100 meters and turn left through a sand track ...uo will discover a waste ground where park... take no notice about the men who is there looking for places where park it ... its just a man who "works" in that and ask to you for money...so seek for yourself

Excellent nightlife here, if that is what you are after. I was there in 89 & I am sure everywhere has moved on & changed names etc etc. You will have no problems here for evening entertainment!

Clubs, Pubs, BBQ's, etc etc. There is something here for eveyone.

Amnesia & The Ku Club were the "IN" places to go when we were in Ibiza. Whenever I hear Soul ll Soul "Back to Life" & Black box "Right on Time" all the memories come flooding back.........................

by Carmela71 about Cafe del Mar (Sunset Bar)

Who has not heard about the famous Cafe del Mar?

After hearing the whole collection of Stace's Cafe del mar CD's this was our start point for a good Friday night.

The atmosphere is unique, and here you can get ideas for the summer fashion LOL

Sit at the terrace if you want to watch the people, but if you want to see the people playing with the fire after sunset, the best place is to sit inside on the top floor, you will find better views and also you will feel yourself at heaven surrender by clouds.... great decoration....

Did I mention the ridiculous prices for drinks? When you go there, do not expect to pay less than 8 Euros per drink ? just crazy.
