Family Holiday in Ibiza with toddlers

by debika

Hi, Hoping not to have to carry too much over to Ibiza but coming with 2 year old twins! Does anybody know name of decent nappy brand/prices. Can you get disposible swim nappies? Anything else samish price as UK that I shouldn't bother bringing thanks!

It is a globalised world and you are in Spain! So you will that all the depressingly familiar brands of nappies/baby food/etc. are all available. There maybe some additional ownname brands from the big chainS like ERSOKI the Spanish one, or Carrefour, the French one. Both have several outlets around in Ibiza. Prices used to be cheaper than the UK but since the pound is down, I don't know anymore

Rest, any pharmacy, and there is usually one for each area, and they take in turns to be open 24 hours/7days, will have a supply of nappies, and baby food and medicines, albeit at higher prices than a supermarket. All pharmacies when they are closed will have a paper up notifying the "Farmacias de Guardia" for that day and weekend with their addresses.

Apologies if it sounded like I didn't think Spain would have these things!! I go to India every year and buy stuff out there so to think Spain wouldn't would be a bit silly! I was thinking from a price point of view....not on mainland, tourist destination etc etc...thought it may be way more expensive than the UK....thanks for your reply...

Travel Tips for Ibiza

Do not miss the Beaches

by Carmela71

As many of us, my idea of Ibiza was a partying island, nightlife …. All that…

Obviously it has to got beaches for hangovers LOL as it is an island and is surrender by water…

Ok, I was joking. I knew it had lovely beaches, but I never imagine how beautiful they could be. Our first visit was to Conte beach, and I stayed over the mountain where the car park for a few minutes without talking just enjoying the different blues…

Who needs El caribe? LOL

SUN BLOCK!

by Steve-H

Plenty of high factor sun block. The mosquito problem is being tackled by treating the water at Las Salinas ( the ancient roman salt pans behind the airport where standing water is allowed to evaporate to leave the salt behind )

cafe del mar

by balihai69 about cafe del mar

mainly known because of the cd's sold around the world, this nice cafe was empty or closed at night 12.30AM. some other places have appeared besides, so u can have anyway a drink in the terrace or in the sand

Ibiza Town Nightlife

by Carmela71 about Tira Palla

Francis friends that live in Ibiza, recommended us to go to Dome at the Marina sector. While trying to find it, we visited most of the streets, so it was really good. But the best was this little place over Dome, most of the clients are Spanish and the music is good, the terrace on the top has great views and the staff are more than friendly…

A top 1 recommendation

Prices are more reasonable than in the rest.

YOU HAVE TO RENT A CAR

by balihai69

the islad is not big, but its worth to rent a car and have plenty of freedom to move from one point to another, both durind the day and the night. many of the beaches are not easy to get (even by car) so you lose many of them, specially the quiet ones, if u dont have a car ...

the same happens at night if you want to change the place you are in

it cost me around 250 eur 1week
