To say the least, I was amazed at the price it cost to send home a package of souvenirs and other Ibiza material. Except, I was PLEASANTLY surprised! It was just over 30 Euro to send by Spanish mail a package of over 2 kilos! Compared with other prices I paid along the way, this was amazingly cheap. Especially when you think about it being an island, not on the mainland. This was also via the certified mail route.
At least something on Ibiza was cheap! Correos y Telegrafos
Sant Antoni de Portmany
Park in the town
Whilst in Ibiza town, we had a couple of hours to explore, we " found" this nice public park almost in the centre of town, with lots of nice plants and waterfeatures. A lovely pretty place to park and laze away the afternoon, makes a refreshing alternative than the beaches
We love Sundays...
Seriously, I loved Pacha, but this day/night party is probably the best party on the island. The sound system in Space is fantastic (Funktion One to those in the know). Security is very good, but DON'T TURN UP LEGLESS, they will not let you in!
Drinks are pricey, but you knew that already...
Get along to the Sunday afternoon opening...from 4.30PM. You'll get a wrist band so you can go out of the club (you may need to purchase your ticket in advance from clubtickets.com) that way you'll get a free drink with each ticket & possibly the access to one trip out and return to the club.
Bora Bora is about 5 minutes away...a Vodka and Lemon in Bora was 12 Euros which I though was a bloody rip off for an untidy beach bar full of drugies and freeloaders! Cool and smart 'beach' style is fine...I wore T-Shirt, Shorts and sandals!
The Most Beautiful Club on Ibiza
First I will say that I did not make it here. I preferred the double takes of Amnesia and Pacha too much. BUT, I would do this page a disservice by not puttin up a tip on Es Paradis. Partly, this is due to its reputation as the most beautiful club on Ibiza and partly because I really did want to make it here. All I can say is that it is on the water, close to Pacha, in the Port of Ibiza. Obviously being on the water, it would seem to provide a great backdrop to party the night, or morning away.
Jamels is the best!
Lovely small Bistro on the outskirts of the West End in San Antonio, just far away enough from the mayhem.
Lovingly run by Chef Owner Jamel, a cheeky chappy from Algeria!
Sauces to die for!! The Chicken with crab stuffing and paprika sauce is to die for, T-bones huge and tasty. But his specialities are his sauces. Dont miss it!
