Airport Transfers....help please

by claireb0507

Hi Everyone,

I have just booked a last minute holiday to Portinax but the deal did not include any transfers from Ibiza airport to the hotel.

Can anyone advise on how much it should cost so we do not get ripped off?

Tried loking online and it is ranging from £90 - £200.......

Please please any advice would be very helpful. This was meant to be a bargain deal before my baby arrives but all of a sudden it is becomming very expensive!

Thanks in advance

Claire & bump

Hi Claire and Bump (bless) when I saw this I immediately thought of ResortHoppa and checked out their rates, please please don't look unless your midwife is on standby.

I was determined to beat your prices (the Scotsman in me) and I found this site

http://ibiza.suncentre.net/hotel/Airport+Transfers+to+Portinatx+from+Ibiza+Airport/

(just cut and paste), they claim to offer a direct taxi service for 54GBP one-way for up to 4 people, working out at just under 14GBP per person which is probably the cheapest available.

Only danger, when I filled in their online calculator thingy, it also added in the price of a room for a wee, probably best just to phone them. Numbers on site.

Well, taking a regular taxi should not cost you more than 35-40 euros (50 euros max in the worse case: traffic problms, night, festive...) I never been there on high season so I don't know if there would be many taxis ready when you arrive (but I'm travelling quite often to many Spanish airports for business, I can't remember waiting on the lines more than 10 minutes in the worse case)

Have a look here: http://www.laciguenya.com/taxi.htm

Or, if budget is really an issue, you can take a bus: www.ibizabus.com

this area is full of small city stalls as a big open-air market...

ATLANTIS:
The zone of Atlantis, also known as the Point of Boddha, was the refuge for many young people during the hippy ere of the island, and today is still very popular and subject to many visits. To get to this spiritual refuge you have to arrive to the pirate tower near the islets of Es Vedra y Es Vadranell in Cala D´’Hort.

Sunset Celebration

by joel_europa about Cafe Mambo (Sunset Bar)

Café Mambo is all about the time you spend with the people you enjoy as you await the sun to fall and for the moon to take its spot in the sky. I would go to Café Mambo with my friends drink sangria and listen to great chill music on the normal days as the beaches fill with people who also want to cheer the sun take its dip into the ocean. On other nights Pete Tong would transmit live his BBC Essential Selection show with the best special Guests. I also had a chance to eat at Café Mambo, and I had the best salad ever.

San Antonio Nightlife 4 (sunsets)

by Carmela71 about Cafe Mambo (Sunset Bar)

We visited Caf? Mambo the day of the inaguration party of Pacha, and the dj?s where playing there before going to the club, so the music was great!

As it was the pre-party also lots of people where offering discout tickets to PACHA for ONLY 40 euros (crazy prices)

The atmosphere is unique, and here you can get ideas for the summer fashion LOL

Did I mention the ridiculous prices for drinks? When you go there, do not expect to pay less than 8 Euros per drink ? just crazy.

This place was closed when we walked by, but next time I'm there I have to go in for a couple drinkys.

Speaking of the movie:
