More about Fiesta Jungla Aparthotel
i thought the fiesta jungla was fantastic although i do agree its not a place for families as it does get rather loud during the night and early hours in the morning but for 18-30's thats the place to be even when every one come back after a great night out the party continues on the balconys everyone got on great carnt wait to go bk in august !!!
Stayed in the Fiesta Jungla from the 23rd September for a week, and absolutly loved it!!
Before we (me and my girlfriend) went we heard a few dodgy reviews about the place and were a bit worried about going!! But once we got there we were quite taken aback! It was nothing like the reviews we had read to previously going here!!
This hotel is amazing!! Reception Staff very friendly, Supermarket Staff very friendly, Pool (apart from being huge) was VERY clean, and pool side staff were top class!!!
I suppose it was more of the quiter time we were there, but i would definatly reccommend these apartments to anyone!!
The beach in Magaluf is amazing, very clean plenty of beds (although u have 2 pay!! 9 Euro for 2 ppl)!! Resturants on beach front are very nice, and againg staff very cheerful and friendly!! I for one will definatly be going back!!
Another bonus was that the weather was SUPERB!!
Don't go with children anytime.
We went to the Jungla on the 1st May 2006 for a week.(2 Adults + 1 child aged 10). We were concerned when we read bad reviews for this place and after seeing it on Holidays From Hell. We were so concerned we asked our travel agent about this hotel only to be told twice that famillies only were allowed to stay in the Jungla until 6th of June and also at the end of season. THIS IS UNTRUE, THERE WHERE BIG SINGLE SEX GROUPS. They were swearing, chanting, exposing themselves, booting rugby balls around pool, waking everyone up through the night and even staying up all night in and around pool. We only had 1 night undisturbed. We are currently battling Thomson because of this, as yet to no avail. Other holiday makers had also been told it was famillies only at this time.
The hotel was fine, maid service twice.
no no no
i've heard alot of good things about this hotel and that's why i booked.
but, when i arrived. i knew i'd made a mistake!!
this hotel is mainly for young, young girls and boys. i use the words, girls and boys loosely. i'm middle 20's and this place just wasn't for me.
i like to rip it up, don't get me wrong. but happy hardcore pumping through the day and night, just didn't signal a good holiday..
the rep's.. well i didn't see much of them. but, that was my doing. to be honest, i tried to stay away from this hotel as much as possible. in the end, i had a good holiday...
but, be warned!! magaluf in general is 'abit' rough. i won't go into detail, but i think you may know what i mean..
hotel room was good. one of the best actually, just a shame about the
surrounding areas.. reception was very helpful, which suprised me. they have a stressful job...
well. that's all i can think of. my advise to you is. if you're gonna book this hotel, just make sure you're aware of all of the above.. i may have just been at a bad time? i hope you're lucky!!!
i won't be going back to magaluf for a very very long time. but, if i do.
i'll find another hotel and it'll be for a weekend...
I would say that this is one of the best places to stay in Magaluf. It is a clearly set out complex with a large pool. The accommodation is clean, but unless you want to be cramped i would say that it only sleeps 3. Every room contains 2 single beds and a sofa. They all contain a pull out mattress underneath the sofa, for the fourth person. Storage space was generous, but again for 2/3 people, no more. The bathroom is a good size and they all have a bath/shower. The rooms also have a kitchen area with a 2 ringed hob. They provide saucepans, plates, glasses and cutlery.
You can hire tv's, toasters, hair dryers, straightner's and other electrical equipment, but the reception does charge between 10 - 60 Euro's. From the reception you can also change money up, however there is a bank on the corner if you would prefer to go there. One thing i would mention is that if you loose a key it will cost you 15 Euros to replace.
There is a maid service, however they seem to randomly have their own roter so i couldn't tell you what days they would come in.
The location is central, and is opposite from the main night club BCM. The hotel is also only a 5 to 10 minute walk to the beach and the strip.
There are a few trips you can go on, and events that the clubs put on for you (Obviously you have to pay for tickets though) I didn't think much of the booze cruise / catamaran, it was too slow and considering it is targeted for 18-30 age range, it felt more like a saga excursion my parents would go on, and even they would find it slow. This trip does 2 stops to allow you to jump in the sea. They also played two games when I went, the skinny man belly flop and whip the guy's bums. The drinks are free, but they made you drink in your left hand, and right hand action meant you had to down your drink to be taught a lesson. They sold slices of pizza for 2 Euros but it wasn't very nice. If you can get to the pop corn party that is lots of fun. Although you will wake up in the morning wondering where else you might find the pop corn. BCM's legendry foam party is excellent, but can become slightly boring depending on how long you are there for. The pirates show is a must, you don't get much food at the show, so if your a big eater i would recommend eating before.
The beach is very clean, and the water rides (Banana and doughnuts etc) are reasonably priced. There are also a few good bars and restaurants down there too!
The only down fall we suffered was that there was a lot of violence during our second week, but it was the first few games of the world cup.
OH, and be really careful at the airport. Gatwick charged us £6 per kilo we were over. Your allowence can only go up to 20Kilo's. But if you don't have much hand luggage ask them integrate your hand luggage allowence with the case allowence.
one word !!!! amazing
if you are looking for a holiday to remember this is the one.have u ever gone out in your home town and at the end of the night when all the bars are closing thought i dont want to go home.well u wont have to worry about that because the jungla is just then after party 20 of us went out there12 girls and 8 boys.mind u most of the girls i went with are light weights so i spent most of the time with the boys.it was my second time in magaluf and even better than the first.best places to go are panama jacks always bouncing in there to get u goin then take a visit to the stip and no doubt ull end up in bcm atr the end of the night and u walk hopme in 3 mins to the jungla for some more partying all day and night the only time u will be sayin i dont want to go home is u last day unfortunaly it comes for us all.but i will be moving out there next year to work.if any1 up for it ????? have a good one everyone love fraserbird xxxxxxxxxxxxx contact if u need to for anything.
I stayed at the Jungla from the 26th of June for a week. I had done my research about the hotel beforehand so knew exactly what to expect. I knew for a fact I weren't getting any sleep staying at this hotel and I really didn't get much!
The apartments were just about right for us 4 girls. Seperate bedroom with 2 single beds and then the living area with a sofa bed & pull out mattress. We spent alot of our time on the balconies (which were huge) chatting 2 every1 else.
The pool is absolutely lush. Nice and big with a waterfall feature. We were normally going down the pool about 11ish and could always get a sunbed.
The Jungla is only about 5-10 mins from the centre of Magaluf & the beach but somehow we always managed to get lost after we had a few! After every1 comes home from a night out, this is when the real party starts! I never wanted to go to bed incase I missed something good happening and most nights we wouldn't go sleep til at least 9am, then wake up again for our daily dose of sun! Watch out for the security guard though, he can get a bit ratty but I suppose he's only doing his job!
We only did 1 trip whilst we was there and that was Pirates on the Freestyle night. It was absolutely wicked with a great atmosphere. You gotta go cos it's worth the money!
If you're going to Magaluf soon and staying at the Jungla, I am really jealous! Enjoy yourself and wind up the security guard just for me!
Fantastic value for money !
11 adults(Couples and singles)
Arrived at the Fiesta on 16th May, reception was clean, pool very nice(but busy)! Hotel rooms little confusing, abit like cell blocks, but once you find your rooms it was fine, liked the idea of couples on on block and singles on another !
Didnt have pool veiw that was a shame, we overlooked BCM nightclub ! Wasn't too much noise but was may !
Not far from beach or the strip(nightlife) but alot going on near the hotel anyway !
Would def stay here again, staying at the fiesta sahara in October so will compare the two !
loved every minuite
i came here as a 18th birthday present on my first holiday with out the parents just me and my friend came. my freind had already been to the area 3times befor we decided to try a new hotle and our choice was good. we had never laughed so much meeting new friends around the pool having to get up early to get a sunbed wasnt a problem as we hadnt been to bed yet anyway. and the staff in the hotel were lovely and a grate laugh. BCM is brillient we went to the foam party twice during our week there 1ns with FREESTYLE and ones on our own. FREESTYLE passes are well worht the money and pirates is a must see. although dont go to a foam party and get totaly legless the day bedfor ur ment to be going on a booze cruise because like me a cudnt get of bed was very ill. i really enjoyed the holiday and we only got told to turn our music down 1ns as it was after 12pm. this hotel is great if your young and lifly we went at the end of the season and there still was loads todo. and it was cheeper. famliys yes i would come here as im not stuck up. but if u like a quite holiday why on earth do you come to magaluf? best holiday ever coming back in april to work got a job lined up after only been there a week:) mental holiday cheers xx
Nice hotel, shame I was given wrong info from travel agent
I travelled with my husband and four children 15, 14, 12 and 5. On booking, I was told by the travel agent that from 5 September, Freestyle travellers would be gone and it would be families. We thought we were safe going 25th. How wrong could we be. The hotel was almost full of 18 - 30's, my children found all sorts of nasty things in the lifts, we were kept awake most of the night for the whole two weeks by noise, music and bin men. Don't get me wrong, the hotel rooms were clean, reception staff and reps were lovely, resort out of this world couldn't have enjoyed it more. Only big let down being told we would be safe from the 18 - 30's. My 5 year old shoudn't have been subjected to some of what she witnessed. If you have children, I wouldn't recommend the Jungla to you. By the way, if you do decide to go to Magaluf, the Pirate Adventure is a must. We went and it was the best thing we have ever seen. A bit expensive, but worth every penny.

Accommodation at Fiesta Jungla
Does anyone know how much rooms cost per night at Fiesta Jungla in Magalluf in peak season? I haven't been able to find out on the net. Has anyone stayed there?
Re: Accommodation at Fiesta Jungla
As far as I know, you can only book the Jungla through Thomson Freestyle in peak season and through Skytours for the rest of the season. All guests are with the Thomson Group, so I don't think you can book it individually per night.
Re: Accommodation at Fiesta Jungla
hey, i went to the fiesta jungla in 2001 and had a ball!! its great. we book it through a tour operator and it was with freestyle.
hope you have a good time x
Nightlife & Prices?
I'm wanting to go somewhere in Europe with good nightlife for a few days but am on a tight budget. To help me decide can anyone please let me know how much the essentials are in Magaluf, such as a bottle/pint of beer, a pack of 20 cigs and the all important quarterpounder & large fries at McD's?
What are the main areas for pubs and clubs aswell?
Cheers in advance of helpful advice.
RE: Nightlife & Prices?
In Magaluf (and Ibiza town as well) beer is from 2 euros a pint, although happy hour earlier on will get you 2 pints for 3 euros or similar. 20 cigs are 3 euros a pack. Burgers etc are 3 or 4 euros.
The main strip in magaluf is called 'Punta Ballena' (name of street), there are clubs there as well, and its manic during summer.
The biggest club, BCM, is walkable from there, it's about 30 euros entry, but free drinks all night once inside.
RE: Nightlife & Prices?
If your looking for a really good accommodation for a good price try the Fiesta Sahara or Fiesta Jungla in Magaluf... there in a fantastic location right on the main strip.
