Was ok! After reading reviews we booked this hotel AI for 1 week, flight from B,ham was ok but because we changed flight times we went with BA and very small plane.
We arrived at Hotel Belvedere Sat evening 8 pm and was met at reception by slightly grumpy guy who advised us to go to dinner as will close bang on 9pm! and believe me it does.
Room allocated was on2 nd floor at rear above kitchens, so very hot and noisy extractor fans at most times, we asked to move they said come back Tuesday? went back Tuesday said come back tomorrow? so gave up. We wanted to keep room until after 12.00pm on following Saturday because was not flying until 7.00pm so we asked for late check out, guess what !? said come back Tuesday.....e.tc....e.tc, eventualy said no at 11.45pm on day of check out. So I advise you to book late check out with Tour Operator.
Food was very Limp tasteless and sometimes cold, and Im not a fussy eater, drinks were ok larger than normal AI, but like everybody has said you realy do Q for them, also Burger and Pizza huts outside good, but! they cook 1 at a time so have to Q again.
We met some very nice people and visited palma, palme nova lots of ports and Aqualand, which was realy realy nice there we all had fun, bit of advice if you search for aqualand in google you can download and print off free child places before you go-we did.
Overall very clean food/drinks ok staff moody and will not go out of there way.
Would return to Majorca but not this hotel.
relaxing............

went for a nice relaxing holiday just for a week all inclusive in april06 and dont get me wrong u couldnt really fault the place too much. it was really clean, modernised, always had clean towels,and very pleasant receptionists that spoke good english but the only downside i would say was the evening entertainment which was quite bad but they did at least try but we played cards all night every night. and was in bed for 11pm. and were only in our twenties.and the other thing i would say was it was full of foreigners hardly any british. the food was pretty poor but edible but u have to remember that they have to cater for the other tourists too. the hotel is situated in the hills and u have to take a free 10 minute bus ride down to the busy part i.e palma nova. and its good down there with a lovely beach. all in all i would give it a 6/10 rating.

well where can i start..........
before i went on this holiday i must of read several reviews so i could see what i was letting myself in for, and i have to admit it was better than some ppl where saying.
the rooms and hotel areas were spotless, always staff cleaning up after the tourists especially around pool area, the rooms were big enough for how often we were in them, nice size bathroom with bath/shower so ideal for small kids who dont like showers and prefer baths,(like mine, ha ha).
There was a good selection for the meals with a seperate kids section, the pool side bar and cafe was great for the kids the could go up as often as they liked and get chips, ice creams, pop etc.
the entertainment was more aimed at the kids than the adults, which was good because it meant adults can have a quiet drink and watch their kids having fun, there was 5 entertainers who all worked very hard orginising allsort from kids club to water polo and volley ball for adults.
There was a different thing on every night for adults and every night started with a mini disco for the kids so they weren't left out on a night time.
As for the pool area and surrounding grounds of the hotel, all i can say is they were fabulous, the pool was the best i've seen on a holiday yet (had 6 hols in last 3 yrs) and plenty of play areas for kids to wander and still be in sight.
the area where the hotel is situated is a bit quiet if you prefer the busy night life etc then maybe not the place for you, but it did offer a free bus sevice to palmanova for shopping and beach etc.
to sum up my review i feel this hotel is a great one for familys with kids, i would consider coming back in the near future.
nice hotel shame about the location

just back from a week at the belvedere,nice hotel and all but in a pathetic location as far as base for exploring the surrounding areas goes.shuttle bus provided by hotel useful,food great,entertainment poor,we were there for the week beginning 4th july,the mix of nationalities was great for the end of the world cup.
the only problem was two english families who seemed to be making everyone suffer for them not being in the world cup anymore.they ruined the pool activities from the moment they showed up,throwing people in,adults throwin kids and vice versa.atrocious language,the other brits and fpreigners were horrified.
anyway we were only there for a week.
as i said loveley hotel,immaculate grounds loveley food,shame about the location.
Nice Relaxing Holiday

Great Hotel-very clean, excellent food in dining hall. All inclusive from 10am to 11pm. 3 drinks per adult every time you go up. Vodka and Coke very strong. Pizza at poolside. Hotdogs and Burgers at another place poolside. Toasties,chips, chicken nuggets at main poolside bar. Staff work very hard.
You can walk down to Cala Major. Plenty of bars, restaurants etc. Lovely beach with cafe on beach front.
Comfy bus to Palma Nova every 30 minutes. Plenty to do there. Excellent for families. Would recommend.
Really enjoyed the holiday as kids could get there own food and drinks with no hassle with them asking for money.
Trip to Magaluf water park which is fantastic.
First drop off from Palma Airport-only 15 minutes
