We stayed one week here as a of a three-week Spanish orientation. The surroundings were a refeshing difference to us North Americans: the landscape was arid in the Fall of 2005, the temperatures were quite varied but comfortable, the area of the hotel appeared to be desolate. The roads were in fine to superb condition and easy to drive. The beaches were crowded in late afternoons. The golf courses were comfortably busy. The food was varied and enjoyable at the pro shop and in the hotel dining rooms. The hotel was immaculate in room care and the common areas. There a genuine interest in us as tourists and directions for getting around the island were clear. On several forays into Palma, the principal city, we were able to explore and learn about Mediterranean life.
Unique Quality: The landscaping and flowers surrounding the Hotel/resort was well arranged and varied from small flowers to large bushes and shrubs. The swimming pool was in fine condition and well used by guests of the hotel and golf course. Bikes were readily available to be riden on the back roads and paths around the hotel.
Directions: Located about ten miles outside of Palma and the international airport.
